Our furry friends genuinely have big hearts! With their heart rates beating at 120 to 140 beats per minute, they love us with immense intensity. Not only is their love big, but they also stay at a higher body temperature than humans. Dogs’ bodies maintain a temperature between 101 and 102 degrees Fahrenheit, a few degrees warmer, which shows how dedicated they are to giving us their all. A dog leaves a paw print on your heart that lasts forever - you cannot help but feel loved when near your pup! 🐾

What started as a wild animal has been transformed into a precious companion providing pleasure and joy to many.

I have just returned from the vet with my dog Oscar who has an ear infection and is feeling rather under the weather. He now has some antibiotic eardrops and a new cleaner so hopefully he will start to feel better in a few days. Ear infections in dogs can be painful and uncomfortable for our furry friends - but luckily there are steps we can take as pet owners to help avoid them altogether. Regularly inspecting your pup’s ears for any signs of redness or swelling and cleaning them gently when needed should go a long way towards preventing future issues with these pesky infections - not just for Oscar but all pups! That said - if you do suspect that your pup has an ear infection its best not wait - get them checked at the vet right away so they start feeling better sooner rather than later!

When walking your dog in public, you have the freedom to let them roam without a leash. They must however always be under close control. But as a general rule, keep your dog on a lead if you cannot rely on its obedience.
Local governments can pass laws through section 27 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 that would require dogs to be kept on-leash during certain routes - so stay vigilant and check out any relevant rules.

Halloween's or All Hallows Eve. Its origins can be traced back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. It was believed that on that day, the souls of the dead returned to their homes, so people dressed in costumes and lit bonfires to ward off spirits. Today we have some fun Halloween traditions – Carving pumpkin lanterns dressing up in spooky costumes Trick or treat...Guising in Scotland Visiting haunted houses...I will pass on this one. Carrot and Peanut Butter Bones.
Ingredients:
2 cups of whole wheat flour
1 cup of rolled or quick fine oats
1/4 of a cup of no added salt or sugar natural peanut butter
1 large carrot, shredded
1 cup of warm water
1 egg white
Steps:
Preheat the oven to 190C.
Mix the ingredients together in a bowl, and turn out onto a floured surface. Knead for a few minutes until fully combined. Roll out to approx. 1 centimetre thick.
Using a bone cookie cutter, cut the dough, and keep rolling it out until the dough is done.
Place on an oven-warm, lined baking tray, brush with egg white then oven-bake until golden brown. Approx: 25-30 min. Cool fully before eating.
Are homemade dog biscuits safe? Along with being free from harmful ingredients, homemade treats can be used as a training tool. Before embarking on some delicious bone bakes, best check with your veterinarian to ensure your dog has no allergies to any ingredients added to your homemade doggie delights.
