We couldn’t let the month of August go by without wishing our eldest resident, The wonderful Ed, a very happy 15th Birthday!!! Ed has been with us since he was a spring chicken and still enjoys his days out at F&F, showing us all how older age should be done. You’re simply pawsome Ed ! 🐾

At Fast and Furriest, we’ve been loving time at our brand new Edinburgh site, full of fun for all the dogs. We have new cosy indoor spaces, a full agility course, tyre play areas and for those wet weather days, we have our new heated wash station complete with canopy to keep everyone cosy while they have a pamper and dry 😊 Some of you have been with us for the 10 plus years we’ve been in business and you know the steps it has taken to get to this point and we thank you for your unwavering support. With this, it gives us even greater pleasure to tell you, our new site has already had full planning permission granted and with this I hope you can see from the pictures we are working hard to make this the best facility for all our wonderful dogs that come to play at Fast and Furriest. As an added bonus, our new site is looking after our carbon footprint with 90% working from solar energy, 40 new trees planted and a new Co2 sapping moss roof being installed. 🐕

Last week one of our older members of the daycare team passed over the rainbow bridge 🌈 we had the pleasure of having Millie with us for many years, Such a gorgeous kind sole and by far our George’s favourite bog diving companion! You lived such a long happy life Millie thanks to your incredible owners and you’ll be so missed 💔

Yesterday our eldest member of F&F took his walk over the rainbow bridge 🌈 🐾 gorgeous Paddy boy was one of our first dogs at Fast and Furriest and has been our trusty co-pilot riding shot gun in the van for many years. The summer paddling pool will miss you splashing around and how will we keep the cheeky youngster in order without you!! What a long life you led, full of love from your wonderful family. Rest easy little man ❤️

Today at F&F one of our greats gained his angel wings. Not only was handsome Charlie one of my first dogs back in Hounding Around days but for the last 3 years we’ve had the privilege of his wonderful owners being our business partners and with that, seeing Charlie and his brother Dexter every day at work. Charlie, some would say only 8 years, I’d say, what an 8 years!! For dogs, it’s not the length of time they live it’s how they live it and boy did you live your best life. Always amongst the fun, always smiling, tail wagging. Charlie, daycare will be a strange place without you eying up my lunch and expecting me to produce a tennis ball every time I open a van door. We’ve lost a legend but the rainbow bridge has definitely gained one🐕🌈 sleep tight big fella xx
