At Your Bark & Call Edinburgh Established in April 2017 by Suzanne Gibson who is committed to the highest standards of pet care and forming excellent, long standing client relationships.

We are an East of Edinburgh-based, professional dog walking service. Why use At Your Bark & Call? Our unique selling point is that Suzanne limits her group dog walks to five dogs to ensure great fun and safe walking. She guarantees an hour of meaningf

ul exercise for your dog; aiming to walk 4 km in the hour. Dogs are transported to a variety of excellent Edinburgh & East Lothian parks, beaches and woodlands via our fully-fitted out, ventilated van. Each dog has it's own safe space in the van, Suzanne is Canine First Aid trained and at the end of every day customers receive a route map and photos of the day's walk; something that's much-appreciated by her loyal customers. She can also do 'wee' walks for elderly or unfit dogs. Contact Suzanne at your convenience for further information. She'd be delighted to chat about your dog walking and pet visit needs and arrange to meet you & your pet, with no obligation. To all the wonderful At Your Bark & Call customers who donated much needed items to Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home today!

The lovely team there were really appreciative of all the ideal, useful things donated to help keep dogs & cats in their care cozy, fed and stimulated with all the great toys too!

The EDCH website has a really helpful list of items they accept as donations - it’s spring clean time so now is a great time to see if you’ve got anything they need.

We LOVED the recent ‘cold snap’. It offered us the best of winter conditions for woodland, grassland and beach walkies…even if our tootsies were a tad chilly.

As the year draws to a close we reflect on 2024.

Here are some favourite photos of beautiful Rudy, one of the most fun, reliable, gregarious and contented dogs I’ve had the privilege of walking.
Really sadly, in Autumn he passed away and we’ve missed him a great deal in the latter part of this year. The boy dog dynamics have shifted as his mates Jasper and Attie jostle a little to fill his wise old boss man boots.

We love you always and miss you Mr R, Rudy, Ru-ru, Roods, big guy. Thank you for all the amazing miles of fun over many years, and right to the end. What a credit you were to your family who I know will be missing you so very much. Special boy. ❤️

Max’s owner asked if I’d give him a bath. She’s not able to manage that so I was happy to oblige. He came over to Babs’ after walkies and they both got a spa treatment. Max was so good & now he is super-fresh! Look at his wee face!

Babs is off to Dundas vets tomorrow for teeth cleaning so she’s ready. (Hoping no extractions but fearing there may well be…her mouth is not her best asset shall we say) 🦷

Hellooo 👋🏻

Haven’t posted in a while! Been busy wading through mud with dugs, washing dugs and laundering what feels like 1,000 bogging dug towels. Deep joy!

I don’t really need to post much as ‘the socials’ aren’t my vehicle for communicating directly with clients so it feels less essential/urgent/routine, you know! 👍🏻

Anyway, I’ve edited my Instagram ‘Highlights’ section today and had some fun with that. I’ll be posting more characterful, fun pics/clips of each lovable doggo and they’ll all eventually get their own highlight…like an AYB&C hall of fame! Also, added to my Pet Portrait highlight so keep an eye on that for any cutesy new ones I complete.

I just need to check the date but it either is, was or will be our SEVENTH birthday! 🎈 Niiiice. Wettest winter & spring out of all of them. Will I make it to EIGHT? Jury’s out 💦
