Brought in by the Dog Warden today (Friday 21st) from A96 near Alves.

STRAY POMERANIAN UPDATE

As nobody came forward, and nobody even knew of the dog or had seen it about, we have rehomed her (on behalf of Moray Council) to a fantastic new family and we're sure she'll have a happy life with them.

UPDATE 13th March - Sadly it didn't work out so she's back and available for rehoming. We did get useful feedback and this reinforces our comment that she's a lovely character and will be a fantastic new friend, but she's very needy and can be a bit destructive/naughty if she can't contact her owner for a period of time. This could be insecurity because she was abandoned and I'm sure with a bit more work, confidence and trust, can be fixed.

We use a lot ourselves and can pass on the benefit of a decent price to our customers. This litter doesn’t turn into powder when your puss has a good scratch so we find it lasts better than others.

UPDATE: CLAIMED BY OWNER BEFORE 5PM TODAY! BRILLIANT!!

Brought in by Moray Council from Keith. It has a brain condition which causes it to spin, so should be easy to identify. Not chipped. Please let the owner know that the wee soul is here, if you recognise her.

We have a few of these big beauties crawling aroung the stones aroundthe kennel block. I've never seen them here before but Google says they are larva of the Elephant Hawkmoth.
Will definately be watching out to see the adult....but will have to wait till next year for that.

We had a great time at Crufts.
Jafa (Finhamspride Kia at Inchstellie) did 2 classes and was 2nd in Good Citizen Bitch Flatcoat.

HOME NOW FOUND!!!

UPDATE FRIDAY 12 JANUARY: Thank you all for your offers and help to get him a new home. We have had heaps of well wishers and enquiries....
He's now out on trial to check that it's a fit.
Should there be a problem in the next week, (and we all hope there isn't!), then we will be back in touch with the next person in line...

FLASHING TOYS FOR YOUR DOG

I don't want to be a kill joy but:
Please be aware that there is a battery in any toy that flashes or moves. If your dog chews then it could swallow the battery, or a child might get a hold of it.
We're all so aware of dangers but this is one which might slip through your net!
