How Big Will Your Cats Grow?
This is one of the most frequent questions I receive, so I’d like to address it here. Predicting the size a kitten will grow to is something no breeder can guarantee. Each kitten is unique, and while all my F1 girls are large, I can’t say with certainty how big their kittens will be. That’s part of the excitement and mystery of raising these special cats—you never know what you’re going to get.

Weight & Markings at Birth
I don’t weigh or measure my kittens right away. My priority is to let them stay with their mother in her private space, where I give them all the privacy they need. I watch from a distance to ensure mum is doing well, and only step in if she needs help. Over time, as they grow, their markings and personalities develop, and each kitten becomes truly unique.

My Breeding Ethos
I put the best with the best and hope for the best. My breeding philosophy is built on respect for the natural process and the individual character of my F1 girls. They are complex, and I have built a deep rapport and respect with each of them. I don’t interfere unnecessarily because I trust my girls and understand their needs. I hope this helps answer the common questions about size, weight, and early development, while reassuring you of the care and attention each kitten receives.

Yesterday , we were saddened as we said goodbye to our very last Bengal boy, Aka Big Skit, real name Tao. He passed yesterday morning, leaving an irreplaceable hole in our hearts. He was our second Bengal, purchased from Pauline and Frank 13 and a half years ago, and from the moment he joined our family, he was special.

When I began my journey of early gens, anyone who has had one of our kittens and commented on their wonderful personalities should know that so much of that was thanks to this legend. He was grandad to every baby we took in, helping to socialize our kittens in countless ways. He will be deeply missed.

When we purchased him all those years ago, no one wanted this boy because they didn’t believe he was an F2 and his markings weren’t considered perfect. But we loved him from the start and knew he would be perfect for us. He turned out to be the absolute best cat with the most amazing personality. How lucky we were to give him a home and love him for 13 plus years.

❗️Purely for awareness and purely from my own recent experiences this is not a post to cause a backlash or upset any responsible dog owners❗️

Recently I have been receiving a high volume of calls from people which I felt was worth sharing with everyone, I personally am finding a concerning shift in behavior from individuals who may have previously been involved in breeding XL Bully dogs, which are now banned. These people are now reaching out to me, seeking F2 Savannah females, likely with the intent of continuing to profit from breeding. This could be a troubling trend where unethical breeders are simply shifting their focus from one breed or species to another, potentially exploiting the popularity of Savannah cats.

Savannah cats, particularly the early generation, are known for their wild ancestry and are often sought after for their exotic appearance. Breeding them irresponsibly or without proper knowledge and care can lead to significant welfare issues for the cats, including health problems, poor living conditions, and behavioral challenges. The fact that these individuals are not concerned with paperwork further suggests a lack of concern for the animals' well-being or the legal and ethical aspects of breeding this is something that people have personally said to me they are not bothered about the paperwork!

It's critical to remain cautious and perhaps even consider screening potential new families more rigorously. You might also want to connect with other breeders or organizations involved with Savannah cats to alert them to this trend and discuss ways to protect the breed from exploitation. Reporting suspicious inquiries to relevant animal welfare authorities could also help in preventing unethical breeding practices.
