Based in the Moray area, we are located just off the B9103 in a good, but quiet location which is of suitable commuting distance from Elgin, Lossiemouth, Lhanbryde, Fochabers, Urquhart, Garmouth, Rothes and Aberlour. Wash Down Area with Hot Horse Shower. Regular group activities, such as Drill rides, Treasure Hunts, BBQ's, Xmas Barn Dance and social nights out, all adds to the great relaxed friendly atmosphere where we all enjoy our equine friends.

🚨 NIGHT FLYING 🚁 LOW FLYING 🏇 REQUEST FOR RIDERS

Chinooks from RAF Odiham will be operating from Lossie for the next two weeks.

They'll be flying day and night, on sorties that will see them operate as low as 100ft.

🦺 Horse riders are kindly asked to wear hi-vis, so they be clearly seen, and avoided.

Exercises like this are vital to ensuring that pilots and crews are ready to deploy operationally.

“FUN DAY” and what a fun day it was too, blessed with glorious weather the liveries got their ponies all tacked up and firstly went on a nature trail where they collected 20 items carefully selected by moi ! We then devoured Susie Burchell amazing Chocolate and Raspberry cake which I failed to get a photo of….it went that quick! Once all our riders returned we took a wee rest and used our brains for a wee quiz and lastly much laughter was had whilst the guys were such good sports with the challenging assault and novelty course. Wee four legged Polly being the star of the show of course ! We had definitely worked up an appetite and the boss sorted that for us on the BBQ. Congratulations to our winners…..who knew that the mounting block doubled as a podium 😂

⚠️IMPORTANT UPDATE ⚠️The Highway Code is being updated from end of January 2022 to help protect vulnerable road users.

These updates to the rules aim to protect those most at risk. Creating a hierarchy of users, including pedestrians, particularly children, older or disabled people, cyclists, motorcyclists, and horse riders.

With regards to passing horses, road users must:
👌 pass horses (including horse drawn vehicles) under 10mph
👌 give a 2m clearance when passing, and if this is not possible it will be the law to wait until it is clear to do so.

Thank you for passing us wide and slow- it does matter, it keeps us all safe 👌👍👌
