Who thought owning a business would be so hard ?? Every week paying for stock , constantly on the phone , missing out on family , Every day is a struggle for all us small businesses , keeping the locals interested , competing with prices . Quality of food is superior compared to the supermarkets , yet you go in there and shelves are empty !! Prices are ridiculous , but people are still spending and using the big chains . Small shops are closing because they cannot keep up with the rise in fuels and electric , and not getting the support again . Just think if once a week , we all visited 1 , just 1 ,small business a week , that’s helping them and not filling the massive supermarkets !!
Are our lives that busy we don’t have time to go to the local shops . Please don’t forget us , don’t forget the ones that helped you in lock down , don’t forget those who know your name when you walk in , don’t forget those who still deliver , don’t forget those right on your doorstep . Use it or lose it ❤️

This is Darcie. She’s a three-year-old Newfoundland. She’s never lived in a home before and has never experienced love 😔💔 Darcie was one of around 40 dogs rescued in the middle of the night by the Many Tears Animal Rescue charity last week. Poor Darcie was found with sore skin and must have been in terrible pain. Thankfully, she’s now being cared for by kind volunteers who gave her a groom - and she’s starting to feel much better. She’s now looking for a new loving forever home - and is hoping to meet someone who can finally show her how wonderful life can be when you are loved 🥰 We’re rooting for you Darcie! 🙌
