The past few weeks of loving these animals
🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
He’s such a big goof ball😍
Such a waterbaby, doesn’t half make me laugh!
I love our Jax so much, such a beautiful soul🧡
Related to my last post….
This is Jax again and this is his 4th session with me.
Animals read us through body language, hand and body gestures and the vocal levels too your words… not actually the word you say, it’s what it sounds like and then relates too which is when you receive their reaction and any completed commands.
Jax caught onto my hand gestures very quickly, which I noticed he enjoyed replying too, I didn’t have to say I word to him during this session with his commands, and he absolutely loves it, it’s so mentally stimulating for him as a individual, he ended up just repeating the ball routine without me even doing anything.
I find this extremely heart filling and I absolutely love having fun with him and his company.
He would much rather do this than react to his triggers!
Well done Jax🧡
Lots of love,
Hannah

40mins into our first ever session with reactive Jax yesterday.
I wouldn’t have done this or let him off lead if I didn’t feel the confidence in him and the bond we gained during that session… which happened very quickly.
Not only did I have him off lead, I had him walk past someone without a reaction, he looked at this person, he knew they were there, but I knew straight away from the moment I met him how clever he was, and eventually how fixated he was on me and his reward, to find he realises he gains more out of mental stimulation than reacting to his triggers, he quickly recognised what I was saying to him with my hand gestures and caught on that he’d get his reward if he was to stay concentrated!
Finding what your dog likes more than anything, wether it’s toys, food or noises, the majority of the time these things can make big changes to how you’re training them, and the bond you gain between you and your animal is the most important thing you can have to be able to train and trust equally, having what your animal enjoys helps that bond too, eventually you will feel an even stronger bond, and when you do, you must put your trust in them, for them to trust and enjoy you and your time too, to then have outcomes like these.. sometimes it does take time, sometimes it takes a lot of patience and sometimes it just takes you to get to know your animal just that little bit more!
An equal partnership between you and your animal is key!
Some sit, heal and recall work for a very excited and reactive German Shepard, Jazmine!
Keeping her mentally stimulated and fixated while there is other dogs and people around us! More were passing on the path behind the video!
She has a very bad habit of jumping up when excited and barking towards new faces, although she is so friendly and soft, she needs to learn boundaries! With a little bit of patience and dedication, we finally got to the point where I have her full attention.
She is such a good puppy 😍🧡
