Meet Ember the GSX!
Ember is an extremely anxious dog, she deals with this by having reactive outbursts, including being very vocal about her feelings, as well as lunging and snapping at the air.
We have had around 4 sessions with Em so far, and although she is far from being completely relaxed (panting, visually fixated on the other dog) she is probably around 75-80% better than she was prior to our sessions beginning.
Ember is five, she may never reach a point where she wants to be best friends with other dogs, and that’s completely fine. It’s all about building her tolerance and making her more comfortable in different environments around other dogs, ignorance is better than reactivity !

What a star 🤩
One of our regular girls yesterday, this little miss is now on our dog walking schedule.
She has progressed such a long way, dog reactivity was completely undetectable yesterday, she even walked past a large cat without even so much as an increase in lead pressure.
Absolutely incredible, I am beyond impressed.
This is a perfect example of what can be achieved when a pups handlers continue the work after our one to one sessions.
It may feel repetitive, you may think you’re not getting anywhere, but don’t give up. Your pup will get there in the end, with lots of encouragement and praise.
