Sorry for being quiet! It's been a very stressful few weeks with my car breaking down!

I have recently found out that there's another rescue on the Wirral, in Heswall, which is run by a vet and vet nurse. This is a non-profit organisation, and they don't even have a designated building!
If you could spare any dog or cat food, wet or dry, that would be amazing! If your dog has suddenly gone off their usual food, don't bin it! Donate it!
Also, could I kindly ask you all to go and drop a follow on their page, and if anyone is currently fostering or is happy to foster any of these dogs, it would help them out immensely!

What horrible weather! I got absolutely soaked to the bone on Tuesday and today! Hot showers and a nice hot drink all round! Poor Frankie was having non of it, had a quick toilet break and she was ready to get back inside!

Now it's getting warmer, be mindful on the activities you do with your dogs, especially the double coats, young puppies and our elderly dogs as these find it harder to regulate their body temperature so are at higher risk of overheating. Beautiful Jack isn't great on his legs so can't walk for miles and miles so I great way to tire him out is to get them using their brains! Small scatter feeds and also getting him to find treats I've thrown whilst walking down the road is a great way to get their nose and brain working!
