As 2024 comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the past year—the highs, the lows, the heartbreaks 🌈, the laugh-out-loud moments, the endless wagging tails, and the joyful faces. Every single dog I have the privilege of walking brings something special to the fields we roam. They each have their own unique spirit, and on some of my toughest days, they’re always there, lifting me up, making me smile, and reminding me to live in the present.

Our walks mean everything to each other.
The look on their faces when I turn up 🐾
The body shakes with excitement 🐾
The wagging tails, the slobber, their unconditional love and happiness = pure job satisfaction.

The days can be long, miles can be challenging, weather harsh, admin tiring, but those happy faces bring me pure joy.

The last 3 days attending the Easy Peasy Puppy Instructor course over at Sutton Coldfield has been amazing, inspiring, fun and new friends made for life.

Two more assessments to go and hopefully I should get the thumbs up 😎 and then the hard part of believing in myself to get classes & 1-2-1's set up.

I AM AWAY 2nd - 4th October on my next lot of training 🐾🐾🐾

I seriously cannot wait to get started on this course.
With 2025 only being a few months away a few things will be changing for Purrfect Walking Buddies.
PWB will be 6 years old in February 😁 thank you to each and everyone of my clients, current and past you have all helped me get to where I am today.

When the weather forecast makes your already planned schedule, turn on its head 🤨
My plan is to bring all walks forward as much as I can, if not it will be garden let-outs only as my cut off temperature is 23/24 degrees breed, age, ability & location depending.
If you are at home and wish to rearrange/cancel please let me know asap.
Remember I am off Wednesday 7th & Friday 9th August ready for the wedding on 11th & not back until Monday 19th August.

Now I just have to wait for my assessment to come back 🤞🏻🐾

I know I've been dog walking for 5.5yrs, but this course has added fuel to my fire to push myself and this little business of mine further & further.

Reading between the lines, hopefully this side of the pet industry gets a big reshuffle and us dog walkers will finally need to be licenced. This course covers a lot of preparation involving EVERYTHING associated with dog walking, Defra and government legislation to protect the dogs we care for which a lot of home boarders, kennels etc will already have in place.

So on that note I'll be making amendments to my dog walking agreement and all forms associated.
Day to work will stay exactly the same, I just want and need my paperwork ready and waiting for any potential future licensing reshuffle.
