We are so fortunate to have a lovely neighbour, George Jamieson, who has a Manitou with a very impressive bucket on the front. He has been and cleared our road 3 times in the last 24 hours to help us keep our customers safe. Thank you , Farmer George, for being amazing! We have taken in our final guest and she is now settling in. We have closed our gate for our Christmas holiday, and will re-open on 27th December at our usual time. I will also take the opportunity for a wee break from emails, WhatsApps, etc, but please don't panic - it is only temporary ! It doesn't seem five minutes since I was last wishing you all a Merry Christmas but here we are again. To all of our family members, four legged and two legged, our suppliers, supporters and interested parties, thank you for being with us through this amazing year, enjoy the festive season and we will look forward to seeing you all again soon. For our new and exciting space, I begged the help of my good friend, Mel Johnstone, who has the greenest fingers I know. Together we researched plants that are beneficial to dogs, either by scent or texture, etc, and yesterday she came by and planted up all six planters with an amazing array of beautiful plants. We are so enjoying this space, and the dogs love the feel of the sand. Now we can all enjoy it even more for its aesthetic appeal to both two and four legged varieties. Thanks a bunch, Mel. You are a blooming star !! 🌟

I am delighted to say that our 20m x 9m secure and covered sand arena is now fully operational and already providing us with a great area to exercise in the heat of the day. We'll also be very pleased of it once the weather is less obliging, come the autumn and winter. For the dogs, it's like an outing at the beach so we've had lots of laughs at sand zoomies and older dogs rediscovering their puppy side. This is another great addition to our unique facility here at Moss Croft, and the guests have already given it their seal of approval 😀 🐾

Well, Hello !!

Welcome to the Moss Croft Country Kennels page! We have created a custom designed, purpose built, 7-kennel facility just north of Ellon in Aberdeenshire.

The kennels are large, bright, and airy, giving our guests plenty of room to move around, enjoy changes of texture, temperature and light. From the cosy sleep areas, to the covered outside runs, complete with their own gardens, we’re sure our guests will enjoy the calm and peaceful atmosphere of this little corner of rural Aberdeenshire.

As the build progressed, we posted regular updates on our progress, tracing the process of construction - from clearing the site to the exciting day of accepting our first guests.

Thank you to those of you who joined us on this journey. Please like our page and let your four-legged furry friends know there’s a special place which has been created just for them. Holidays will take on a new meaning - for them .... and for you !
