🤗 LOCAL BUSINESS SHOUT OUT (again) 😁

I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but unfortunately this week the dog wash shelter was a hit and run victim....boooo . Thankfully it was caught on CCTV and discussions been had.

Am grateful to John of Fencing Solutions Tarves coming to the rescue and fixing it for me yesterday in case Storm Amy wheeked it up into the air like something out of The Wizard of Oz. Yaaaaay. 👍🤓Thanks John 🤓👍.

Also a big THANK YOU to Ellon Timber who helped this morning (Saturday) after Storm Amy tried to remove the shelter roof 🤣🙈. Hopefully that's all for now and no more repairs needed 🤞.

Anyone looking for a local puppy class with the lovely Beth?

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all well. Apologies for the lack of social media presence lately, you lot have been keeping me super busy over the summer months!

I am now back to uni for my final year 🤯, so unfortunately my availability for 1-2-1’s will be reduced from now until after Christmas.

However, I am still delighted to be offering my next block of puppy classes commencing in 2 WEEKS, on the 9th of October at Ythanbank village hall. The 7-7.50pm class is FULLY BOOKED, but I have 4 spaces remaining for the 8-8.50pm class. Due to high demand, I am now opening up the later class to all puppies aged 3-12 months. If you would like a space in the class, please get in touch. A £20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot and proof of vaccinations will be required before your pup can attend.

DOG WASH OUT OF ORDER. Some teething problems with dog wash, sorry for the inconvenience.

UPDATE.....parts have arrived, hopefully be up and running tomorrow 🤞. Will keep you updated.

Some pups will be breathing a sigh of relief 🤣.

🤗 𝑫𝑰𝑭𝑭𝑰𝑪𝑼𝑳𝑻 𝑷𝑶𝑺𝑻 𝑻𝑶 𝑾𝑹𝑰𝑻𝑬 🤗

As many of you know, at the end of 2023 / beginning of 2024 I was diagnosed and successfully treated for breast cancer. You all continued to support me throughout, and your help, good wishes and understanding were amazing, which I am hugely grateful for.

On Thursday I was sadly diagnosed with breast cancer again. Unfortunately I do not have the ooomph left to go through treatment whilst running my own business a second time, with a different and potentially more difficult treatment plan ahead. As a result this post is to gauge how I go forward as my health is my primary focus. Would anyone be interesting in buying the business?

Ideally I'd like to sell as a going concern to provide some financial support during treatment, also there would be many disappointed cats and dogs if my own brand food is not available in Ellon, so if anyone is interested please drop me a message or email on [email protected]

Photo of Mack with his first pizzle to cheer the post up a bit, he will be disappointed his mum is giving up The Pet Stop, but am sure he'll not suffer as a result 😍.

Let me introduce our new furbaby Mack or Mack the Monster as he's affectionately called with those 🐊 teeth 🤣.

So if I'm even more d***y than usual due to a little lack of sleep, please bear with me 🤣. Thanks so much to Katie who will be in the shop more often to help out, as also have other things going on in the background 🤗.

How to get to The Pet Stop.....a wee video for info.

Please note, can only get here from the town centre, road is closed from Broomiesburn Road up to Tesco.

❗️UPDATE 18/9/25 - SSEN WORKS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE❗️

Second phase starting on Monday 22nd Sept, meaning road will be closed from Broomiesburn to town centre for approximately 10wks.

DOG WASH DEMO

Ha ha....ever the professional 🤣🙈

Can be used outside shop opening hours, but please be aware I have security cameras in place 🤗.

I forgot to add that you control the wash and use the 10 mins to whatever suits your needs or dog 😁.

Can also increase the time in 1 minute increments during the wash if need longer than 10 minutes, but that is an additional charge of £1 p/min. TBH I think 10 mins will be more than enough for most people 🤗.

🚦UPCOMING ROAD CLOSURE / ACCESS🚦

Many of you have been asking how you'll get to us when the road is closed for SSEN works on Castle Road.

A sign has appeared showing the road closure just after Broomiesburn Road (where you turn in to get to The Pet Stop, Ellon Timber etc) as you head out of town towards Tesco. The sign states the road closure from 9/9/25 to 16/12/25.

This photo from SSEN website shows phase 1 and phase 2 works plan, so it looks like first 3-4 wks access will only be from Ellon town centre to Broomiesburn Road, with the following 10wks access only from Tesco side.

November and December are historically my busiest months of the year, so your continued support during this time will be hugely appreciated🤞🤗.

If you are travelling from outwith Ellon and not sure which way is open, feel free to pop a message or give me a phone to check.
