Second up for February we have Kaitlin and Ellie...
*Their Story*
Ellie & I started agility the end of 2020, from day 1 Ellie fell in love with agility especially tunnels, she can be timid at times out with agility but agility really is her thing and brings the best and craziness out in Ellie. Ellie’s kennel club name is in memory of my late grandparents who sadly never got to meet Ellie.
Ellie is my second agility dog, my first agility dog Willow was a lot more steady so when Ellie came along it was a shock to the system.
Ellie has achieved a lot in her short time of competing, she won out of grade 2 in September 2022 and amazed me by winning into grade 7 on 3rd February 2024. We also qualified for the showtime novice cup final in 2023 finishing 4th with the quickest time but an unlucky 5 faults. Every grade we have won up has been a proud moment for myself as I never thought I would be able to get to where we are. Ellie has taken me places I never thought I’d ever get and I am grateful to have this little crazy dog to do life with.
I do agility because it’s not only an escape from life but it’s something that the dogs enjoy that we can do together.
Ellie puts everything into her training even though she likes to be cheeky and take every tunnel in sight at times our goals is to get to a champ final and qualify for different things.
It has definitely helped me knowing Kelly believes in us and pushes us to be the best we can we wouldn’t be where we are in our agility journey without the training, encouragement and belief Kelly has.
TRAINER: The moment I seen these guys together I knew it was going to be special! And I'm very rarely wrong 🤣 so proud on what these guys have achieved in a short space of time but there is some amazing moments to come!!
Ellie is abit tunnel daft and not the first time during a 121 we just spent the session walking round the tunnels without losing Ellie inside lol This dog has got attitude in the ring! Well done to all ur hard work kaitlin u nailed it! And me 🤣🤣
