Thank you all for keeping me so busy! I am fully booked for December and going into the start of 2023, I am also closed to new customers until the middle of January but appointments can still be booked.

This is in light of My Mum's cancer treatment as well, thank you to everyone for putting up with appointment changes and my ever changing availability!

Can't wait to get into the new year and back to normality!

Unfortunately Stella and Scout are still missing, they have never run off! It is absolutely heartbreaking and i am losing hope but if I could please ask everyone to listen for any unusual barks at night as it could be them. ITS GRASS SEED SEASON! 🌾
This time of year we start to see cases of these pesky little monsters commonly getting stuck in dogs ears, noses, and feet.
🌾Grass seeds can cause an awful lot of damage, and once they imbed under the skin they typically continue to track deeper and deeper into the tissue. This is because they are barbed, not allowing them to travel back the way they came.
🌾In worst cases they have been found in the lungs and even the brain.
🌾Look out for red swelling in between your dogs toes, snorting/snuffling, and constant head shaking.
🌾 Commonly occurs in spaniel type breeds due to their long hairy ears and furry feet, but grass seeds can effect any dog breed.
🌾Always check your dogs over after a walk and pick out any seeds from their fur. Where possible avoid walking them in places where there is an abundance of grass seeds.
🌾If you suspect your dog is effected, give us a call ASAP so that we can check them over, as intervention is required sooner rather than later to prevent the seeds from tracking too far. 01353 658333.

💝A little 'happy ending' story for you all on this Sunday morning......

This sweet little lady is called Ellie and she was adopted from Block Fen back in 2019. She was rescued from a large puppy farm and had spent most of her life living in kennels having puppies 😞

Yesterday her adopted family took her along to a local dog show and not only did she win 'Best Rescue' but she went on to win 'Overall Show Champion' 🥳🤩🎉🥇🏆

It's amazing how little Ellie's life has changed so much! We all feel so happy she now has a loving family who adore her and can show her what life is all about - well done Ellie, you deserve it all!!! 😍🐾

Came in to show of the breed to a young girl who was considering getting GSD, Siren definitely did her job! The young girl brought a GSD just a few days later!!
