Let’s talk Christmas for all our pet food customers!

It’s the first Christmas I have done pet food.

Most of the suppliers have a lovely long break and close for Christmas and New Year!

In order to ensure I have enough food for you can you PLEASE let me know what you would like and I’ll reserve it (with a deposit or payment in full) OR if you have room to store can you pop along and get it so I know you have it and it gives me chance to stock up on the next order.

I’m currently compiling a huge order for PURRFORM customers that will go in early part of the week.

Natural Instinct customers I can store for you - let me know what you would like.

Please help me to help you so there’s no hungry fur children over Christmas and New Year 🎅🏻

As we move into another week I’ve been wondering how to word this post without upsetting some people and so it gets across what I am trying to say.

We are all guilty of purchasing online. Myself included however I’m not cheeky to go into a shop ask advice on what’s the best XYZ , even take a photo, ask how it works then say well it’s only £x on a well known online shopping platform. So I’ll buy it on there and walk out the shop.

Recently our £59.99 tropical starter tanks were too expensive compared with the inexpensive one they’ve seen online… to this I replied cheaper is not always better… Will that online platform advise on how to set it up, how to clean the filter etc etc

And only this weekend a reptile kit purchased online - admittedly for a reasonable price but without number crunching looked like it was listed at an inflated price to make the deal look better but was also unlikely to arrive on time for a birthday but I was asked would I help set it up. I replied with the following… when you purchase from me it may not be the cheapest you can find but I often do the best deal I can but what you do get is the help and support to set it all up - explanations in where to position heat lamps, set thermostats, put thermometers etc etc etc this information in my eyes is invaluable if its your first set up. I will often reply to messages out of hours too if you get stuck with something. This comes as standard with items I sell. You can ask as many questions as you want.

So whilst I am here to ask advice and support at the moment - if you don't actually purchase anything from me then the next time you need advice I very well might not be there.

I know I am not alone, businesses up and down the country are in the same position.

Perhaps I should charge for advice by the time taken but ultimately if you purchase a product or set up then you will get endless support for FREE thats part of selling the item to you.

I hope this all makes sense.

Bunched and potted plants arrived yesterday 💚
