We have some great deals on cuttlefish at the moment!

We have these big bits priced at just £1 each plus we have smaller pieces that can be purchased at £20 for 1kg!

Cuttlefish is a good calcium source for many aviary birds and of course lots of reptiles including African Land Snails as well as isopods! 🐌 🪳🦜🐢

Breakfasts not coming quick enough for this Reed Fish (Erpetoichthys calabaricus) 🤷🏻‍♀️

These mainly nocturnal fish have such characters! Make sure your aquarium has a well fitting lid and no small fish!

Good Morning!

We have had some beautiful fish arrive this week 🐠

Here is a snapshot of our favourites 😍
(There are many many more!)

🐠By popular request - Marble Hatchets - a peacefully shoaling fish that sits on the surface of the water

🐠 Chocolate gourami - one of our all time favourites, shy, peaceful and quiet can be sensitive so a mature aquarium is quiet tank mates are a must

🐠 Gold Rams - these are from a local breeder and are simply stunning 😍

🐠 YoYo Loach - zippy fish perfect for those 🐌 issues - needs a reasonably large aquarium

🦐 Cherry Shrimp - these are from a local breeder - shrimp make a lovely addition to the smaller fish community and will live at lower temperatures too just don’t mix with fish that will eat them. Fascinating creatures which are always busy busy busy 🤩

🐠 Long Fin Bristlenose Pleco 🤩 - Cinderella fish - cleaning fish with dress like fins 😆 - these are from a local breeder 🤩

⭐️ Lampeyes - add a splash of starlight with their silvery appearance and stunning sparkly blue eyes - very peaceful best suited to a small fish community

🐠Green Dragon Angels - growing to be stunning fish - currently on offer - Angels do get big , can be argumentative and are likely to eat small fish but are a lovely feature fish in a middle sized fish aquarium

Reminder about our loyalty card scheme 😍

We have some news to share with you all!

As some of you already know we have a Loyalty Card scheme which has been running for at least 5 years now (probably longer 😬) which allows discounts on certain products and also allows you to collect points as you shop. 💳

Well… we have increased the points offered per £ spent! This means we are giving you MORE back for your LOYALTY to us!

Rather then 1 point per £1 spent - you get 5 points per £1 spent!! Once you have 100 points saved you can convert this into £ and use it as discount on your next shop or save it all up towards something bigger another time! Points cannot be converted to cash for us to give to you though!

Ask us at the till for more information or to sign up!

Loyalty Cards are FREE to get - all we ask for is your name to allocate you a card.

We do have one stipulation though - you MUST bring your card with you when you shop with us to get your points.
If you don’t bring your card then we we ask you to keep your receipt safe and points can be added to your card next time ☺️

Can’t find your card? Don’t panic we can find your existing account and issue another card on to it!
