The dog school is closed this weekend, for a course break.

Courses start back from Saturday 22nd Feb, when the puppy course and club classes resume.

The new Novice, Graduate & Preadvance courses, which also start from the 22nd Feb, are almost full but there are a few spaces left. If you would like to book a place, please email [email protected] asap.

We love hearing how you apply what you learned at Charlie's to help you enjoy your weekends with your dogs.

Today Jo joined a group of our Agility Club members to compete at the T&A Agility show at World Horse Welfare, Snetterton.

Jo was super proud of all the dogs, who behaved impeccably, and the owners, who remembered their courses!! "It was fabulous to see everyone have fun with their dog, putting what they have been learning into practice" All that hard work definitely paid off as everyone came back with a rosette - always the icing on the cake 😉

🛢️FOUNDATION HOOPERS🛢️

New Foundation Hoopers course starts on the 1st Feb. SATURDAYS 5-6pm at Charlies

This is a 6 week course with Nicola our fantastic Advanced Hoopers Instructor. Nicola will support you and your dog to learn the basics of how to successfully navigate the hoopers equipment.

BOOKING: to secure your place on the course you must email [email protected]

Please note: In order to get the most out of this course you need to have a reliable recall and be comfortable with you dog off lead. For existing Charlie's clients this is normally pre-advanced level.

This course is also open to those who have not previously trained with Charlie's Dog Training Centre. However, we will need to undertake a short & simple assessment to check suitability. This will be arranged at booking.

Super proud of all who competed at our Agility and Gundog Scurries at the weekend.

The weather was shocking, torrential rain pretty much accompanied everyone with their smiles as they came through the gate, some stuck with it hunkering down in their chairs under umbrellas and some hit the poly tunnel for the worst to blow over.

Blow over it did and from then on the smiles (despite my agility courses) were accompanied by improving weather with some tans topped up by finish of day.

The good humour enthusiasm and encouragement for all participants made for a super atmosphere.

Induction course - cancelled

Unfortunately we are going to have to cancel our induction class tonight (Wednesday 26th June).

There is simply not enough shade up at the dog school at that time to mitigate for the forecast temperature.

Keep yourselves and you dogs cool at home this evening folks 🥵

Unfortunately we will need to cancel tonight's (Tuesday 25th June) Preadvance & Club.

We think it is going to be too hot at that time of evening which just so happens to align with the point we have the least amount of shade on site.

If you are normally a Tuesday Preadvance person, you should be able to make up the missed class over the next two weekends but if that doesn't work for you, please pop the office and email and we will see what we can sort out.
