🎉 Throughout 2024 Fresh Start for hens have saved 78,528 birds from slaughter including at least 324 cockerels, the total does not include a variety of other animals 🎉

⭐️ This has been our first full year volunteering for Fresh Start for Hens and what an amazing year it's been! ⭐️

🐔 With your help our little collection point has rehomed (including our first rehome in Nov 23) 562 hens and 1 handsome cockerel!!! Don't worry I won't do that many hen emojis 😏😂🐔

⭐️ We can't wait to do it all again in 2025 but please bear in mind there are hens waiting patiently in hen banks all across the country for their forever homes. The team are amazing and would be able to work their magic so you could collect from us. Please get in touch if you're able to offer any of these girls a home ⭐️

Yesterday our heros ventured out in the awful weather committed to collect the hens. Due to the storm some rehomers have had to postpone their collections until their coops are fixed 😢

We are still urgently appealing for homes for our 1400 hens who are currently without a home 😭
