Exploring the great outdoors , experienced dog walker taking on new clients ♥️

Different weather conditions can significantly impact a dog's walking routine in several ways:

1. **Heat:** Hot weather can lead to overheating and paw pad burns on hot pavement. It’s best to walk dogs during cooler parts of the day, like early morning or late evening. Shorter walks with plenty of breaks and access to water are ideal.

2. **Cold:** In cold weather, especially with snow and ice, dogs may need shorter walks to prevent frostbite on their paws and ears. Using dog booties can help protect their feet, and a doggy jacket can keep them warm, particularly for small or short-haired breeds.

3. **Rain:** Wet weather can make walks unpleasant for both dogs and walkers. Some dogs dislike getting wet, while others love it! If it’s raining, consider shorter walks or using a raincoat for your dog. Be mindful of slippery surfaces.

4. **Wind:** Strong winds can be unsettling for some dogs. If it’s particularly windy, it may be better to stick to sheltered areas.

5. **Snow:** While many dogs enjoy playing in the snow, they may also get cold quickly. Walking on snow can be tiring, so keep walks shorter and watch for signs of discomfort.

6. **Humidity:** High humidity can also lead to overheating. Just like in hot weather, ensure your dog has plenty of water and limit strenuous activities.

In all weather conditions, it's essential to monitor your dog's behavior and adjust the walking routine accordingly to ensure their comfort and safety.

Rest assured your pets are in safe hands!

Fun facts about German Shepherds!

1. **Versatile Working Dogs:** Originally bred in Germany for herding sheep, German Shepherds are now one of the most versatile working dog breeds, excelling as police, military, and service dogs.

2. **Intelligent and Trainable:** They are known for their high intelligence and ability to learn commands quickly.

3. **Loyal Companions:** German Shepherds are known for their loyalty and protective nature towards their families!

4. **Physical Attributes:** They are a large breed, typically weighing between 25 to 60 kg and standing 22 to 26 inches tall at the shoulder. Their strong, muscular build gives them agility and strength.

5. **Variety of Colors:** While the most common coloration is black and tan, German Shepherds can also be solid black, sable, or even white.

6. **Great with Families:** Despite their protective instincts, many German Shepherds are gentle and affectionate with children, making them great family pets with the correct training and exercise.

7**Lifespan:** German Shepherds typically live between 9 to 13 years.

These wonderful traits make German Shepherd loved by many and I’m lucky enough to walk 2 ♥️

📍 Covering Soham and surrounding areas.

Secure Play Park Adventures
We explore local parks in a secure, fun environment where dogs are matched carefully to enjoy safe playtime with friends.

Adventure Dog Walks
Our adventure walks are perfect for playful dogs who love socialising. We take a maximum of three dogs (or five with two staff on forest walks), so each dog receives plenty of human attention. We match every dog with their ideal play partner for maximum fun.

Solo Dog Walks
We offer one-to-one walks or group walks for dogs from the same household, based on your dog’s preference. We vary locations to keep things interesting, and after each walk, we’ll ensure your dog is towel-dried and mud-free upon return.

Cat Sitting and Feeding
Cats feel happiest in their own environment. Our pop-in service allows your cat(s) to stay at home, where we maintain their usual routine, meeting your unique needs while you’re away.

We can also look after any other animal, from your pet hamster to a herd of cattle! 🐴🐣😻🐹🐷🐑🦆
