Such a great course from Sally Gutteridge, a huge 6 week learning platform.

Scent work is such a great fun exercise and is perfect for all dogs, whether you have a Labrador, Spaniel, Chihuahua or Chow every dog can be taught to use their nose.

It is a great way to help fearful dogs, reactive dogs, and increase an already amazing bond with your dogs.

I am looking forward to planning how to launch scent work taster sessions and courses very soon.

We now have over 150 followers, and whilst that might not be massive compared to some, it is massive to us!
We have only been Ely Puppy and Dog Training for 117 days, and the support, love and appreciation we have received has been incredible.

Week 2 of our amazing puppy course!

Sadly we were one pooch down today due to some illness in the family. We wish you well and can’t wait to see you next week.

Looking at all things recall today, starting to build a cue, clock at the reflex response our dogs offer and why reinforcement is essential.

We also talked about conditioning equipment. Whether medical, everyday use or one off items, it is still important to make sure you put is comfortable with all items.

Loved the session, the time flew past.

Our amazing 1-21’s from today.

Firstly, a huge, HUGE shout out to the amazing owners of these pups.
The journey has been incredible and I’m so proud of you all.

Working with dogs of all ages is amazing, looking at how scientific methods really do work, and the importance of understanding patience, consistency and having that loyal loving relationship is amazing.

I cannot wait for more fun with these pups soon.

It will be held at the amazing Ely Dog Field which is just the perfect venue for this event.

Helping guide you through why dogs can feel the need to communicate how they do, why they do it, and how we can start to help overcome it.

We simply loved every minute of our rapid recall workshop today!

Loads of learning, loads of fun and utilising those beautiful scientific methods of positive reinforcement just proved so powerful.

Huge thanks to everyone who attended.

As always, we want to give a massive shout out to Ely Dog Field the space is perfect for so many workshops, and hopefully some future lessons.
I just need to find the admin time, but things are coming soon!

Loved our latest reactivity workshop this afternoon.
Such a great session, loads of positives.

When it comes to reactivity, we need to take the small wins!
Today we had people who brought their dogs into a new environment where the new other dogs would be! That’s HUGE, it’s brave it takes commitment.
Secondly we narrowed down some distance between our dogs, again something which previously would have been avoided.
So proud of everyone who took part!

It is a journey, it isn’t always easy, but you know deep down you are doing your absolute best for your dogs.

Special shout out to Ely Dog Field as always the facility was perfect for our workshop. We will see you in the morning for our recall session.

Our first week of our perfect puppy course!

Such an amazing week.
I loved every minute, so a huge thank you to everyone for the participation during the course, I can’t wait for week 2.

Looking at how dogs learn, covering a few scientific pieces, as well as some basic cues, lead walking and the amazing effects of reinforcement.

Rapid Recall Workshop - late availability!

Due to some last minute illness, we have a couple of spaces that have become available for this weekends rapid recall workshop.

Held at Ely Dog Field in a fully secure environment, you will have full control and management of your dogs, ensuring we set them all up for success.

This is our fantastic 90 minute workshop on teaching you all things recall. How we can improve recall, why it is important to continue to charge the cue and the law around having your dog off lead too.

It is a fun, interactive workshop, with loads of knowledge presented to you.

What a week it has been so far!
Full of amazing 1-2-1’s with all different types of behaviour, it’s been a lot of fun.

Looking at what drives a dogs emotion, how they are feeling and taking into account their choices is always number one on the list.
We look at control and management protocols, making sure you and your dog are safe and come up with a specific plan designed just for you.

We can’t wait for some more fun tomorrow with loads more learning!
