So back in January I mentioned Handsome Hounds was having a refurb, 12 weeks later 😩😩😩😩😩😩 it’s finally done!!!!
Yes there were tears of frustration but it’s all done now & I’m bloomin over the moon!
Extra insulation and under floor heating all good to go for Spring 🤣🤣 actually, let’s just say I’m organised for winter!!!!!

Hello All, I hope you are staying safe and well. The council have written to inform me that I can reopen my business next week once special measures are in place. This will involve people who can walk to me so they can include it in their daily exercise and also if I can practice social distancing (placing dogs in the crate on the drive way & online bank payments)
With 60+ missed appointments between march and this week I have to prioritise. So, for me the priorities are thick woolly coats & older dogs all living within walking distance who missed their appointments. My PPE clothing has arrived so I’m going to start booking customers who fit in to the above category. I will contact you within the next 2 weeks but if in the meantime if you are an existing customer who fits into the above category, please private message me or text on 07565 971357. Please bare with me as I am also juggling home schooling and a back injury so won’t be able to do as many in a day as usual, but I’m very excited to see all my favourite faces soon 🐶 #handsomehoundsely

Just to make you laugh ... has anyone’s dog started singing this yet!? 😂😂😂
I get asked alot if I do ‘Hand Stripping’ on certain breeds, as some groomers are not trained to handstrip. The answer is yes!!
So I made a short & very amateur like little clip of me hand stripping a border terrier this morning using a stripping knife .
The process is used to remove excess hair from the root rather than cutting the hair. This then allows the soft undercoat to show & encourage new hair to grow 🐾
