This year will mark the 10 year anniversary of running my business. As a thank you to my clients I have organised two weekends of fun. Today we held a novice dog novice handler training day and test. We had a guest judge who came to support the day with a Q&A session and to judge the test. Her knowledge, achievements and understanding of gundogs is out of this world and we’re all very honoured to have had her join us today. Big thank you to Janet Webb for all the help and support you give me. 10 years have gone by really fast and I would like to thank all my wonderful clients from my training classes and home boarding service, both old and new for supporting me over the years. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I would also like to say a massive thank you to all my helpers for today. We couldn’t have done the test without your help. Thank you to Sporting Saint for sponsoring the prizes. Look forward to seeing you all next weekend for more fun at the scurry.

You don’t have to be a gundog breed to enjoy gundogs training. Solo is a Patterdale cross Border Terrier. He has the best character and loves his lessons. A joy to watch 🥰

We are half way through our current Sunday courses, so we worked in the stubble field and practiced directions, ditches and holding an area.

Today the girls had a well earned massage after their very busy season. Nicky treats all of my dogs for good maintenance and fitness. She is also running in the London Marathon to raise money for the Royal Veterinary College Animal Care Trust. If you would to read her story please click the link beneath.

Early morning lesson with Lizzie and Soda today at the lake. We worked on retrieving across the lake from a different angle. 👏

In Kay and Monty‘s lesson today we worked on leaving the beet to retrieve across some water. 👏

What a difference a day makes. I think these guys are definitely preferring today’s weather. I’ve come up to my secure field for a sniff about. Home from Home dog boarding 🐶

You do not have to be a gundog breed to enjoy gundog training. Shadow is a German Shepherd and loves her gundog training lessons. Today in our 1-2-1 we worked on straight lines and using the place board for the delivery.
