I'm going to be featuring some of our first, and ongoing, users of our fields as part of our 10th Anniversary celebrations.
First is Jayne, and her wonderful dogs. They were our first members, walking three times a week for the time they live in Ely. When we first opened, we used the fields alongside the dog training centre for dog walking; the cottages weren't built then.
This is what she has to say about us:
"We moved to Ely in 2013 and had 3 large dogs, 2 of which loved to chase and had didnt have the best recall. I used to walk them on my own and Developing Dog Activity Meadows was the perfect solution. I could safely walk them all year round (great on dark winter evenings), happy in the knowledge they could run off lead and be free, in a safe environment without the risk of other dogs, roads, or anything else. The facilities and set was amazing then so I’m sure it developed even further in recent years. We have moved around a lot and used private dog walk fields in other locations but none have come close to being as good as Sian’s. Waking our dogs there was such a relief and gave me so much peace of mind - I’m sure that all of the dogs benefitted hugely from that."
Our fields are a source of great pleasure to us, and to our many regular and occasional dog walkers.
