This is written with a heavy heart β€οΈ
After many years of many dogs I have made the decision to fully reduce my hours down.
Centre Barks Ely will only operate now on a Monday with a skeleton crew of dogs which I have chosen to keep on.
It has been a hard decision and has taken me ages to write the message and tell people but I have honestly had the best job in the world π
COVID was difficult for us humans as much as it was for the dogs. They must have wondered where their social life had gone when we Dog Walkers had to stop for the weeks in the beginning. The first walk after the Government gave us the go ahead to start again my doggie group ran and ran and chatted to each other all the way round the fields. I could hear them.. βwow you have gained a little weightβ βoh wow look at you, your hair looks beautiful longβ It was blissful and I stood and cried because the realisation that they needed their friends as much as we did at that time β€οΈ
Myself and family thankyou all for the support you have given Centre Barks since I began 8 years ago.
One last full week next week and then new beginnings for me⦠I am sure I will see you walking your fur babies around the Market Square
Love
