Good morning everyone 🦎

I love this quote, my bearded dragon is very clever, he knows what he wants and has learnt how to get it. He's very affectionate and is always tapping in the glass to get out of his enclosure when he hears us. He will climb up our arm and snuggle into our neck 😂

Morning!

Happy Sunday 🤗

This is my little rescue Flash, he was neglected and had a rough start in life. Him and his previous cage mate had a fight which resulted in him losing his eye.

My heart hurt when I saw him, his nails were overgrown and twisted, he was thin, had bald patches all over and only one eye. I knew I had to bring him home. He was so scared of humans and other guinea pigs , it took a long time and a lot of work to get him feeling safe around us. With careful and supervised bonding at a rescue we managed to pair him with a lovely female pig so he isn't lonely.

He has to have daily wound washes as he gets recurrent infections as the vets cannot close his wound fully.

Despite all this he is now a happy, confident piggie, he gets so much love and is truly spoilt 😅

I am very conscious of who I leave him with when we go away, I haven't found anyone locally who can board him and I don't feel comfortable leaving him with just home visits once a day. The rescue where we got his friend from will be boarding them for a week but this is over an hour away. I've found a huge gap in the market for small animal boarding and reptile home visits in Emsworth and surrounding areas which is why I decided to open my doors again 💞❤️
