Congratulations to our L3 Adult Dog Groomers 2023 for completing their course with us, it's been a pleasure to see you grow and develop into amazing groomers.
We wish you good luck for the future and look forward to seeing your grooming skills blossom 🐕🐾
The lovely Paxton! 🐩
Paxton is a standard poodle who has a 'Teddy bear' style rather than the breed standard groom.
Here he is looking stunning after being groomed by one of our Level 3 students.

Unfortunately, the College remains closed today. Thank you to all our lovely clients for your understanding whilst we rebook you.
The elf will take the opportunity to practice his scissoring skills on one of our model dogs. One day we might let him loose on a real one!
In the meantime, we hope you continue to enjoy the snow with your dogs but remember that some grit can be toxic to dogs, so it's worth giving their paws a quick wipe-over when you get in from your walks.
The elf has been raiding the treat jar to give out to all our lovely clients.
We sell a range of high-quality treats and also have some festive baubles filled with goodies for the dogs to enjoy.
We have a very busy week next week before we close for the Christmas break but have been lucky enough to have been treated to lots of human treats to help get us through!

The elf has employed two bodyguards in the shape of Monte and Prince the Pomeranians after staff threatened to evict him.
Monte and Prince come to us for a bath, dry and de-shed, along with a special conditioning treatment to help restore the quality of their coats.
Somehow, we don't think he employed the right dogs for the job...

Look who's arrived in the parlour!
As with every dog grooming parlour Christmas is our busiest time of the year with our diary full to the brim of our lovely doggy clients, and we are looking forward to getting them looking gorgeous for Christmas.
If you need to cancel your dog's appointment over the next 2 to 3 weeks then please be aware that we will not be able to accommodate them anywhere else before Christmas. Please do give us as much notice as possible if you do need to cancel as we have a long waiting list of clients who have not been able to book in before the Christmas break. Many thanks.

It has been a pleasure to groom these gorgeous boys this morning. Our Level 2 dog grooming students have been hard at work bathing, drying and de-shedding them.
Double-coated breeds benefit from a good brush out regularly to keep their coat in good condition along with regular grooming appointments. Newfoundlands and spaniels keep our students busy 😀
Did you know that clipping a dog that has a double-coat can lead to something known as post-clipping alopecia, also known as 'coat funk'?
Instead, regular baths with a good de-shed are far more effective at keeping them in good condition and allow them to control their body temperature more effectively.
This is just one of the many things that we teach our students along with the science behind it, so they are able to fully inform dog owners of the risk.
Our Whimzees Natural Dog Treat goody bags are a great present to give your pooch at Christmas.
Pop into the salon to buy your goody bag before they sell out!

Pablo enjoying his pamper with us this morning, isn't he gorgeous ❤
Cocker spaniels benefit from a bath and dry to wash away the dirt and remove dead hair, especially now winter is approaching.
