We hope everyone is having a lovely Boxing Day and that all the cats are enjoying playing with the empty boxes from yesterday!
Today we have an update on lovely Tootsie who was adopted 5 years ago
Her loving family say she is well in herself but the vet is keeping eye on her kidneys as there has been a slight decline- they have her on a special diet and will be having a check up with the vet again soon. Tootsie is now 13 and her family say they want her to be with them for as long as possible.
Her family say she is the most loved family member as you can imagine. We absolutely love to hear that our former residents are so loved and loved after so well. Cats truly are part of the family ❤️
Merry Christmas Tootsie!
Merry Christmas to all our supporters and followers. We couldn’t do what we do without you. All the cats at Enfield Cattery and Central Branch HQ say a big Thank you!
We will be posting more updates on former residents over the Christmas period so if you would like to send us an update on your Enfield cattery RSPCA cat please DM us or post on here and we will repost for you!
So enjoy your Christmas dinner and give all your cats currently eyeing up the Turkey and preparing to pounce on the tree a huge fuss from all of us 🎄🐾
Here’s another update from one of our fabulous former residents, Tiggy!
Tiggy was adopted in 2017 and it was soon clear she had found the perfect home.
Last year we were told that Tiggy sadly had been diagnosed with mammary cancer. Surprising the vets and Tiggys humans she is still not showing any signs of ill health. She is as hungry as ever and loves playing with her toys.
Her Family are obviously hoping that she stays in good health for as long as possible and say they are so grateful for every day they have with her.
Here are some lovely photos of her being adorable from the last year 🥰
Merry Christmas Tiggy! We hope you stay well and happy and can enjoy plenty more time with your wonderful family ❤️🐾
We haven’t run the usual calendar this year but instead will be featuring some update on our former residents as we count down to Christmas Day
First up is Alfie, he was adopted in Oct 2017 and has certainly found the perfect home. He is absolute adored and we get lots of lovely photos and updates about him. Here he is getting into the Christmas spirit with his toy Santa 🥰
Merry Christmas Alfie!

Missing cat alert 🚨
Simba is missing since 25th Oct from the EN3 area. Simba is chipped. If you have any information or have seen Simba please comment on this post for the owner to see
Thank you
Thank you
😿 8-week-old Chanel can't understand why she was thrown out like rubbish after she was found tied up in a plastic bag in a wheelie bin in south Tottenham on 1st October 💔
A member of the public found the bag inside his bin after hearing it rustling around. If he hadn't heard her, she would have suffered a terrifying death 😔

Its officially ‘Adoptober’ here at the RSPCA and we’ll be sharing some of our gorgeous cats who are available for adoption. Couple you find your purrfect match this Adoptober? 🐈🐈⬛
First up is Jasper, who is a bit of a cat dog! Jasper is very playful and loves to carry his toys around and bring them to you for some playtime. He’s got a huge purr and is very affectionate. Jasper does need a special diet (Royal Canin GI only) as he’s got a sensitive tummy, so any new owner would need to be aware of that and be able to commit to this food for his care.
If you can give Jasper a home, please email us at [email protected] ❤️
By running for RSPCA Central London Branch, you’ll be raising funds to directly help London’s animals in need. We have charity places available for all the events below, we just ask that you raise a minimum amount for us (which is set out on each individual page) and if you meet our minimum fund...
Missing Cat alert 🚨
Uma is a female tabby missing from the Wormley area. She has a distinctive old wound on one ear. If you have any information or think you may have seen her please comment on this post.
Thank you
Update
Mogali is home and doing well ❤️🐾
Please continue to share for awareness ref Deni the white female who we believe was killed on the road.
Please see appeal for information below 🚨
The Tabby cat in the photo, Mogali, is missing from Ware since Wednesday lunchtime. He could have travelled away from Watton road/churchfields. Please look out for him, he is wearing a blue reflective collar, please call the owner on 07397187977 with any sightings.
Sadly the white cat in the photo was likely killed by a cat on 20th July. A lady was seen putting the body of a cat matching her description in a dark coloured (possibly) 4x4. A gentleman on scene at the time thought she was taking it to a vet to be scanned, no vet has made contact and local vets have also been checked just in case. The owner desperately needs some closure and to possible retrieve Denis body. If you have any information on this, someone may have mentioned they moved the body thinking they were doing the right thing but please do contact the owner on the mobile shown above.
Both these cats are not where they should be now which is in their loving home and their owner is distraught. Please if you have any information get in touch and please consider sharing this post to reach as many people as we can.
Thank you
We’re excited to be at the Crouch End Festival this Saturday!! We’ll have a stall at the Weston Park market (between Felix Avenue & the Clocktower) between 10-6 on Saturday 8th July, with handmade goodies, charity shop finds and much more!
So please come down and say hello - it promises to be a fun day!
As the weather warms up this week we would like to remind everyone of some very important information:
- Dogs can die in hot cars so please do not under any circumstances leave them
- Cool mats & ice treats are a great way to keep your furry friends cool
- Please put water out for wildlife such as birds, foxes & hedgehogs if you can
- When walking your dogs outside please look out for, & be very aware of, grass seeds. These are small & pointy seeds attached to the tops of long grass stems that can cause fatal injuries to dogs when inhaled

🎄❤️🐾
So who’s our Christmas Eve Calendar Cat?
It’s Tiggy!!
Tiggy was adopted in 2017 and at the time was our longest stay cat. We don’t know why because she is fabulous!
Thankfully someone came along and saw how wonderful she was and could give her the home she needed and deserved.
Tiggy is 15 now and her human contacted us with an update. Sadly Tiggy is rather poorly and her family don’t know how long they have left with her. Tiggy is well remembered by many of our team past and present and we hope that she can remain comfortable and happy for as long as possible.
Tiggys human ended her message with..
“As our first pet, she will always be very special to us and at 15 now we know we gave her the most luxury retirement home!”
You certainly have. We are sending Tiggy and her family lots of love
Merry Christmas Tiggy ❤️
