Excellent days training with the Equine Welfare Network yesterday. Equine behaviour, handling and transport were all covered. Here is footage of the session looking at equine behaviour. Participants were asked to determine the horses external behaviour signs in response to novel objects whilst a heart rate monitor was used to determine the physiological response. Rua was demonstrating clear play behaviour and having a great time.
