Our famous animal handling shows are back for the summer holidays every Thursday and Friday at 11am and 2pm!

For only £25, you will get to meet and hold up to 10 (yes TEN!!!) Different animals, including cute furries, reptiles, snakes, exotics, birds and insects PLUS free zoo entry AND if that wasn't amazing enough value, we are even throwing in a FREE return visit!!! 😱

You spoke, we listened . You can now also book a non handling spectator for only £12.50!

Although our incredible 1 hour fully interactive animal handling shows are only on Thursdays and Fridays, we will still be open as usual on Saturday and Sunday, 10 - 5 (last entry 4pm) where you may book animal handling experiences at reception on the day of your visit.

We recommend booking the shows in advance as they are guaranteed to sell out quick!!!

You can also walk in any time between 10-4pm Thurs- Sun.

During the week (Tues -Thurs) you can book in for our incredible Zooniversal experience or one of our animal therapy sessions. We also host educational days.

Our brand new Zooniversal experience is now available!!

Running everyday from Tues - Friday, you gt your very own dedicated Ranger, who will give you a full informative tour of our zooniverse and then 1 hour of fully interactive animal handling experiences with animals of your choice!!

The perfect fully inclusive animal encounter experience for animal lovers of all ages!

This experience lasts for approximately 90 minutes and is £65 per person, including 1 free spectator!

Any additional non handling guests that want to accompany £15.

Does not include monkey handling, however this can be purchased separately.

This Easter school holidays, our famous 1hr interactive animal handling shows are back Tues- Fri at 11am and 2pm.

For just £25pp, you will get to meet and hold up to 10 different animals, including cute furries, reptiles, exotics, and more!...

We will also throw in free entry to the zoo afterwards PLUS a free return visit, too!!!

To ensure the well-being of our animals during this busy period, handling experiences outside of the shows will be VERY limited and restricted to the following:
*Tamarins
*Squirrel monkeys
*Aviary experience
*Iguana experience
*Tarantulas
You can prebook these experiences online.
(We will be offering our usual experiences during weekends)

If you do not wish to take part in the shows or book any animal experiences, and just want to come down and chill out with us and the animals, we will be dropping our entry price to only £6.50pp during the weekdays (under 2's free)

Have you ever seen anything more impressive than our stunning Daddy-roar?!!!

Rhino iguanas are originally from the caribbean islands , such as dominican Republic and haiti. They are an endangered species and thought to be only10,000-17,000 left in the wild 💔. They live on average, around 16 years. They are herbivores and eat mainly fruit and veg.

Von-doodle the fur noodle playing in his ball pit this afternoon! Our gorgeous little wiggle monsters are definitely the most playful animals we have and are amazing fun! If you haven't been down to meet the ferrets yet, this Easter is the perfect time!

Feeding time at the zoo!!

Here at GTKA, every meal is a feast!! We serve our residents a huge variety of the highest quality pellets and plenty of fresh fruit and veg every day! We also add the best quality vitamins just to ensure all our animals have all the nutrition they need!

We regularly receive very kind and generous food donations from Goodens and for which we would like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts! 🥰

We had a lovely visit this evening from and Mark from who brought us a gorgeous Macaw and a Rosella that needed a forever loving home. We were of course more than happy to take these birds into our amazing aviary to join all of our other rescued/ rehomed feathered friends. We will post separately videos of their release into their new home...stay tuned!!!

During the February half term (12th-23rd Feb) we will be running our amazing, fully interactive, Animal Handling Shows!

There will be 3 shows a day starting at 10.30, 12.30 & 14.30 each lasting 1 hour where you'll get to meet between 10-12 different animals!!! 🐒🦨🦔🐊🐍🐢🦎

After the show, you'll then be free to spend as much time as you like meeting even more amazing animals inside our tropical paradise!!!

If that wasn't enough, every booking made will recieve 50% off a return visit!!!

All of this is just £20 per person if booked before the 5th of February!!!
