Dotty and Lulu ⭐️
How adorable are Dotty and Lulu?! 😍
They came in to be neutered and were absolute stars ⭐️
Even though they are sisters they have such different personalities and we enjoyed having them stay the day with us! 🤩
💥Happy International Superhero Day!
Today we had our very own superhero visit us! This is Bilbo who came in today for a scan of his abdomen so that we could look at his Liver. He was so brave and has been an absolute delight to look after 🐶💜
Our last day of GPAW focuses on your guinea pigs health!🌡
🩺One of the best ways to monitor your guinea pigs health is to regularly check them over, looking at their body, coat, ears, eyes, teeth, feet, bottom and weight.
🩺If you are concerned about your guinea pig’s health, book them in for a check up with your vet🧑🏼⚕️
🩺It is important to also gently groom them a few times a week to ensure their coats stay clean and soft, reducing chances of matting. 💇♂️
⭐️grooming your guinea pigs is a great way to bond with them and keep an eye on their health
⭐️when grooming, you can offer some food whilst you gently brush to make it a more positive experience
⭐️long haired guinea pigs need more frequent brushing and should be done little and often to prevent matting.
⭐️look at clipping your guinea pigs nails every 4-6 weeks to prevent any ingrowing nails. If you are unsure about doing this yourself, call your vet and they will help you out!
Here is Toffee our gorgeous model who is enjoying some snacks whilst having a brush🐹🐾
