Those beautiful eyes and that little sweet nose… I got the pleasure of grooming this little Queen today 🐱 🐈‍⬛ she loves the outdoors and had been previously shaved so was in need of a good deshed and dematt today- I didn’t manage to take after photos but she did so well- I won her over with cuddles kisses and my trusty licky Matt with treats- Fabulous job, you must be feeling brand new little Miss good job🥰🐱🐾🩷

🥹dogs are a true loyal companion for life 🩷there’s a film about this beautiful soul too

This is Hachikō. He was an Akita born on Nov. 10, 1923 in Japan. He was sold to Hidesaburo Ueno, a scientist at the University of Tokyo. Ueno named him Hachi after the number 8, which is considered lucky in Japan, and the two became inseparable. Every day, Hachi walked to Shibuya Station with Ueno for his commute, and he returned each evening to pick him up. This routine continued daily until May 21, 1925. On that sad day, Ueno left for work and never returned, after suffering a fatal cerebral hemorrhage while lecturing.

Despite Ueno's absence, Hachi continued to wait for him at the station daily. Hachi bounced between several homes, including some miles from Shibuya, before settling with Ueno’s former gardener. No matter the distance, Hachi returned to the station daily to wait patiently for his owner. In 1932, a former student of Ueno’s published an article about the dog's vigil, and Hachi's story blew up. Hachi became a symbol of loyalty, and “-ko,” a suffix used as a sign of respect, was added to his name. Now called Hachikō, he started receiving pets and treats from people at the station while he awaited his owner.

In 1934, a life-sized statue of the loyal dog was erected at Shibuya Station, and Hachikō himself attended the unveiling ceremony. Hachikō died the next year at the age of 11. Each year since 1936, a solemn ceremony at Shibuya station has been held to honor his devotion. Hachikō's ashes were buried beside Ueno’s in Tokyo. After nine years, nine months and fifteen days, Hachikō was finally reunited with his beloved owner he missed so much.

Ultrasonic teeth cleaning is a gentle and kind way to hugely improve the dental heath of your pets I’ve seen fantastic results and can’t wait to share before and after pictures with you all!

GRASS SEEDS… I’ve been finding lots of these lately in paws 😞 or lodged in long ears and long tails- 🐾🐶🐕‍🦺🐩🦮🐕Please check your dogs after walking or even after being in the garden if the grass is long or they like a good roll in the grass- they can become really nasty if left unnoticed and won’t usually come out on their own 🐾 keep an eye out for sudden and extra licking of the paws/private’s or shaking of the head but always check paw pads and between the toes often 🐾🐾🐾

Handsome boy 💙 this little man has been to see me twice for puppy introductions and twice for a full groom- with proper introduction to grooming at his pace this little guy enjoys the process, he’s so relaxed he struggles to stay awake!- with regular visits from a young age his coat is kept knot free despite the change from pup to adult coat and most importantly of all he enjoys coming! He enjoys his bath, even the dryer and will allow any little knots to be brushed away…with a well maintained coat a lovely cut can be achieved 🥰- doesn’t he look fabulous afterwards and very proud ✂️🐾 🥰
