Jade and myself would like to wish you all a fabulous Christmas and New Year.

Wow what a year! The best yet and I can’t thank you all for trusting us with your precious pooches.

I’m now closed until January 2nd and can’t wait to see you all in the new year

Sod’s Law leading up to Christmas and everyone wanting their dogs looking smart!
Today my shower gave up and I had to cancel the remainder of the days dogs. It’s all fixed now so good to go!
Saying that I’ve had to rearranged all those dogs to tomorrow, working earlier and later than normal as I hate letting anyone down.
Please try not to be late to your appointment and I always try to give 15 mins notice before completion of the groom so again please collect promptly. This will make an extra busy day move more smoothly.

Last weekend I took Kenya to a grooming competition. A first for her and myself in this category (Asian)
We were not placed but I was more than happy with my little girl she did me super proud and took everything in her stride.
Great feedback from my judges and a lot to work on but we will get there!

LETS TALK FLEAS!

If you know or even think your dog has fleas please cancel and rearrange your appointment!

If at any stage of the groom I find fleas on your dog I will and have sent home dogs wet or unfinished as I have to consider other dogs that are coming in for a groom! Plus a full clean down of the salon is needed.

This time of year they seem to be prolific but simple checks at home can detect them.

Look out for your dog scratching more, hair loss, flea dirt (poo) or actual fleas!

Please do not waste your money on over the counter flea treatments as anything other than from your vet will not work effectively and you are throwing money away!

Saying all that I will have to charge from now on at least 50% of the groom price if fleas are found regardless on what stage they are detected!

Block bookings are almost done! With a huge 60+ dogs to sort for the year 2025 it’s been a task. I’ve still a few that I have to confirm dates for this year or waiting for a reply to my message before I can move on.

Next year I’ve taken a huge decision to go part time and only work 3 days a week. The days I’ll be working are Thursday Friday and Saturdays only. I’ve been in touch with almost everyone to rearranged their appointments accordingly. Sorry to those I’ve not yet been in contact with!
I fully appreciate these days do not suit everyone but I hope we will be able to work around it to suit both.

Today sadly and unexpectedly I had to say goodbye to one of my own dogs 😢 Penny will be greatly missed and has left a huge hole!
I want to thank everyone whose appointment I cancelled at a moments notice for understanding that I needed to be with her 💔

Very few appointments left at the back end of October and November is filling up fast.
Week before Christmas is full with limited spaces available early in December
Next years diary will be open soon for all block bookings! I will post as soon as I’m taking bookings for 2025 😊
