If anyone would like some dog hair to put out for their birds please let me know....I have plenty spare & I'd much rather it went to help our wildlife.

Happy pup after his hand strip (how gorgeous is this boy😍) & happy birds after they took that huge pile of hair home to put out in the garden!

I'm currently sat with a cuppa watching all my local birds taking the hair I've put out too....if anyone wants to do the same just get in touch, the birds love it for their nests 🐦☺

⚠️IMPORTANT ALERT⚠️

If any customers dogs have any symptoms listed below please keep them at home as it is very contagious 😷 & call your vet for advice.


Any dog owners - as you may have heard, there’s a bad virus going round at the moment. Vets are putting out advice as it’s spreading really fast and they’re seeing an advanced amount of admissions.

Try to stay away from parks, don’t let your dog drink outside water, puddles etc and not to sniff 💩. And clean your dogs paws after every walk in case they’ve walked in the virus then catch it when cleaning themselves 🥺

The dog bowl outside my premises will no be filled however if you feel your dog will need a drink whilst visiting I'll be happy to fill a bowl you've brought from home.

Vets are reporting higher than usual occurrenced of gastroenteritis in dogs which is fitting with a wider phenomenon as reported by The Small Animal Veterinary Surveillance Network (SAVSNET). So far we have found that the cases seen- whilst clearly being poorly- have responded well to treatment.
The British Veterinary Association (BVA) advise that with prompt veterinary treatment almost all dogs make a full recovery from this uncommonly violent gastric bug.

How Is This Vomiting Bug Different?
According to Vet Dr Danielle Greenberg of SAVSNET, this vomiting bug is unusual due to:

Prolific vomiting of 5 or more episodes in a 12 hour period which can stop for a period (such as overnight) and then starts again
Dogs are often unable to keep water down at peak vomiting stage
Anorexia and lethargy for 2-5 days
Diarrhoea: Most dogs have ‘gravy-like’ diarrhoea
Full recovery can take 5-10 days

What We Know So Far:
This outbreak is affecting areas across the Midlands, Wales, the North of England and Northern Ireland
The illness is most likely a virus but has not yet been identified.
Seems to be dog-specific, thankfully humans don’t appear to be at risk.
This is not caused by Parvo or Salmonella

Huge congratulations to this superstar & her whole family/team.

So happy to have been able to watch her grow from a fluffy pup to the gorgeous girl she is now & honoured to have played a small part in her success.

The judge even commented on how beautifully groomed she was so I am one very happy & proud groomer right now 😊

Less hairy than his big sisters, & with only two legs instead of four, but I'm sure that won't hold him back for long😅

Please keep our four legged friends safe in this heat. If you are taking them out for a walk, consider the pavement test: Place the back of your hand on the pavement and if you can't leave it there for 5 seconds then it is too hot for your pup 🐾 🌡

It's actually happened! I'm in my new (temporary) home! 🥳😄
You can now find me at the Village Hall, Byrd Row, Norton (turning next to the kids park, opposite Heathfield Rd)

First morning went well, everything ran smoothy & it's great to be back at work after the Christmas break.
I just have to get used to walking three times further to get from one end to the other!😂

Exciting changes happening at home & I'll keep you posted on the progress. Hopefully by the time the new home studio is ready, you'll be able to come inside & have a noisy 🤞🤞!!

A huge thank you for your friendship & loyalty during this year, as always.
It's been a tough one for everyone but your pups visits have kept me sane during the crazy times😁

Yesterday we had to face the most heartbreaking part of having a dog as we said goodbye to our beautiful Suki.
She had 15 very happy, healthy years & we are so lucky we got to spend them with her.
We miss her so much but have so many happy memories.
Most of you would have met, fussed or even been 'claimed' by her pushing between your legs & sitting on your feet, so please think of her & give your own beautiful pup/s a cuddle from us. Thank you

To all my lovely clients (& their two legged families)

I want to reassure you all that I AM still working.

I do want to keep everyone as safe as possible during this crazy time, so although I will miss our little catch ups, please leave your dogs with me at the door rather than coming inside.

If there is anything about the dogs health or clip that I need to know, please get in touch before their appt to keep face to face time to a minimum (or tell me quickly at the door 😅)

Knock on the door & I will open it rather than you using the handle.

If you'd prefer to stay in your car, please let me know in advance & I can come out to you.

I will also be offering a collection service for my local regulars if needed. Please just ask.

I will do all I can to make this time as undisrupted as possible, however with the kids home now appointments may take a little longer. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Lastly, it can get very lonely sometimes so if you just want a chat please call me, we don't even have to talk about dogs....although we probably will!😉😆
