āļøTEDāļø 13.3 rising 5yrs gelding

The lovely Ted is now ready to find his new family!

We have backed him and produced him to date! Rest assured he hasn’t been rushed or spoilt - this shines through in his willingness to please!

This pony has it all to make a fab allround PC pony - he moves well enough for pure dressage - he also has enough jump for greater things in the future!

He’s bold and brave with a very trainable brain!

Not a lot bothers Ted!!!

He even leads the way out hacking and really enjoys it!

Snaffle mouthed, no health issues….

Pm us for further info!

SJ & Dressage

The lovely JUNO out at a training show!

If this is how he can jump now what will he be like once he’s fully matured šŸ˜

Also a few snap shots of him doing dressage, lots to like for the future!

āļøJUNOāļø

Long video - sorry!!! 😬

Juno schooling and jumping - he’s such a brave and genuine chap!

He has been produced slowly with his future in mind and hasn’t been pushed or rushed!

Very clean legs, no vices or health issues!

Snaffle mouthed!

One to watch for the future!! šŸ‘€

We have tried to show as much as possible on the video without making it too boring 😬

Watch this space!!!

15.1 rising 5yr gelding Irish cob X

šŸ‘‰ Very kind gentle nature
šŸ‘‰ A lot of potential for the amateur SJ market or eventing
šŸ‘‰ Has been to training shows
šŸ‘‰ Lots of scope and ability
šŸ‘‰ Performed well at his first dressage competition
šŸ‘‰ Travels well
šŸ‘‰ Hacks alone or in company

We feel Juno has a lot to give to the right home, he would be best suited to someone who wants to get out and about competing…..
He would easily suit a happy hacking home but he thrives on being challenged and we feel would excell in SJ or eventing!
He’s brave and honest!
He will require a kind and sensitive rider, he’s not a kick along and is responsive to your aids!
Doesn’t get hot and silly but wouldn’t want a rider who is a novice or nervous person - he has no malice just more what we’d describe as a proper competition type horse! He tries so hard to please!

Happy to discuss suitability with any prospective purchasers….. this has been an extremely hard decision for his owner and he will only go to the best of homes…

What a good boy DUSTY is šŸ˜

Safely nannying Ted on his first hack around the block!

Even tho there’s only 12mths difference between these 2 ponies Dusty is a super star and his calm even temperament rubbed off onto the lovely Ted today and he help to reassure him that hacking isn’t scary!

Dusty always waits patiently when cars want to come past and this is really good training for ted!

Hopefully a lot more videos of these two out on their adventures as we produce them ā¤ļøšŸ‘€šŸŽ„

Both boys even met a pony and trap today and both coped really well with it…. Some horses freak out and can’t understand them so we were really please with how they stood and watch it go by!

Our moto when training horses is ā€˜Patience is Key’

If you want a quick fix - don’t send them to us! Your horse will Thanku for it if u give them time!

This written piece explains it beautifully!

Don’t rush your training!!

Work with your horse not against them!

Be Patient When Schooling Your Horse

If horses came with an instruction manual, life would be a lot easier. But they don’t, and that’s probably just as well, because half the fun (and half the grey hairs) comes from figuring it out together.

When we ask a horse for a shoulder in, a circle with bend, or even a simple halt, we know what we mean. The horse, however, does not. They haven’t been studying the FEI rulebook in their spare time. To them, it’s just their rider suddenly asking for something peculiar and they’re left to wonder whether it’s worth co operating or if a polite wobble (or a not-so-polite hop) might be easier.

It’s rather like asking your granny to master TikTok overnight, she’ll get there in the end, but you’ll need a good dose of patience while she works out which button does what.

A new movement feels strange to the horse. Muscles protest, balance shifts, and for a while they look more like a shopping trolley with a wonky wheel than the graceful athlete you were hoping for. But with repetition, rest, and a bit of encouragement, things improve. What was once awkward becomes elegant provided we don’t rush them.

Patience is the rider’s greatest tool, though many of us misplace it as soon as the horse starts arguing. It is not the horse’s job to know instantly. It is ours to explain kindly, to reward the smallest try, and to resist the temptation of ā€œjust one more timeā€ (which always ends badly).

Good schooling isn’t about drilling or demanding perfection. It’s about communication, fairness, and yes keeping your sense of humour when things go badly. Because when your horse decides that leg yield means sideways towards the gate and not across the diagonal, sometimes the best you can do is laugh, regroup, and try again tomorrow.

Give them the time to work it out. Horses taught with patience today become the willing partners of tomorrow. And if they test your temper in the meantime? Well, that’s horses for you always reminding us that the learning never ends on either side of the saddle

This girl is winning some hearts on the yard šŸ˜

She’s so gentle and kind in the stable, very easy to handle and do…

She went out Hacking yesterday and didn’t bat an eye at anything along route, artics, wheelie bins, cars etc….

Today she had a little school and popped a few jumps, she’s very easy to ride to a fence and is light on her feet!

Keep watching this space for more updates šŸ˜šŸ‘€

I’ve also included some videos of her hunting with her current owners, she goes hunting in a Waterford bit can be a little strong but on the whole she is pretty uncomplicated….
