The Farm Animal Sanctuary Established over 30 years ago, The Farm Animal Sanctuary is the UK's first of its kind. Support our vital work through donations, sponsorships, and visits.

We provide a safe haven for over 600 rescued farm animals, including sheep, pigs, and horses. Farm animals are global. They are not endangered, exotic or wild. They are animals who are born and raised for their meat and milk, and throughout the world very often do this with a minimum of care. Care costs time and money, and they’re not considered to be worth either. They are just another product, a

lthough unlike other food products such as grains, fruits and vegetables, they bleed when they are injured. They die from fear and stress. They suffer distress when their young are taken away from them. They can be kept until they are too old to stand as long as they can still produce milk or offspring. They can then be travelled hundreds of miles, enduring awful conditions, to be slaughtered without pre-stunning. There are very few places throughout the world where farm animals can find sanctuary to be able to live out their lives in peace, to be treated with kindness and respect. We watch these animals become comfortable and confident. We see their characters develop. We admire their intelligence and the way they embrace their peaceful surroundings. We watch them begin to play and finally become content. They form close companionships and soon recognise the people who care for them and look after them. They ask for very little. For us it’s a pleasure and a privilege to be part of their daily lives. This is why we are here.

🎃 Saturday 1st November

Get ready to dress up and dive into two days of spooktacular fun at our Farm Animal Sanctuary! We’re inviting families of all ages to join us for a Halloween-themed event packed with excitement, treats, and plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy.

What’s Happening 👻:
Farm Animal Sanctuary Ghost Trail: Explore our spooky trails and meet some friendly ghostly figures along the way.

Colouring & Games 🎨 : Keep the kids entertained with Halloween-themed colouring activities and loads of games where they can win fantastic prizes.

Best Dressed Prizes 🧛‍♀️: Show off your most creative costumes for a chance to win extra special prizes.

Face Painting 🎨: We're excited to have our local face painter, Firefly Face Painting, with us! She'll transform you into something spooky for the day, and you can keep the fun going into the evening! 👻

Meet Our Rescue Animals 🐾: Spend time with our beloved rescue animals and hear their incredible stories from the sanctuary team.

Food & Drink:
We’re delighted to welcome Plantuguese, who will be serving up delicious plant-based dishes throughout both days and Golden Glaze Doughnuts with delicious sweet treats 🍩 all perfect for keeping you fueled for all the Halloween fun! 🌱

Adults: £5
Children under 14: £7.50 (includes a full goodie bag, with vegan sweeties!)

ZsaZsa has needed some adjustments to her prosthetic leg🦿
The leg itself fits perfectly, but keeping it attached has been a bit challenging 🤦🏼‍♀️.
Fortunately, we have our dedicated vet available to assist with the modifications, all while being closely monitored by Kamari and Eliza 😂🦙
