A couple of our newbies having a great time in the field.

A group of our regular clients making the most of the weather after all the rain we've had. The little black cocker was so anxious last week when she first joined us, she seems to be getting on fine here.

I don't believe it! I really don't believe it! All the complaints and nonsense about rain, puddles, mud and subsequent showers and they spend their weekends swimming! There will be no carrying over puddles and through mud. No more wrapping me around your paws. No excuses at all in the future boys!

Here's the boy, up to his usual tricks! What an intelligent lad, found a way through to the jammie toast. However, when he got there he saw the error of his ways and left well alone. His owner said he wasn't allowed to go out for a walk today but we're going to pick him up anyway, as in the end he didn't take the jammie toast. What a good boy, Sixpac.

Took one of our newest recruits to the field today. He made some new friends and all seemed to have a good time.

We received this the other day from two of our clients. We are missing them too very much but not enough to hurry back early. Sorry my boys, see you soon.

The boys brought their relative with them on their walks recently. Here he seems to be having a great time with some new mates.

It's sad but, although we looked like drowned rats, we were not invited in to dry off in front of the fire, after a very wet afternoon in the field. Presumably they were worried that we would behave like their dogs!

"They're back!" Sixpac screamed excitedly. "Told you, Sixpac, they would come eventually. They couldn't leave us with this for the foreseeable!" "They made sure it wasn't raining. Wasn't that good of them Tupac?" "Well we could not have walked in the rain because of your surgery and they knew that Sixpac." "Perhaps we could use that as an excuse not to go out in the rain." "Yes, you only need to give Auntie Claire those soppy eyes of yours Sixpac and she will relent and refuse to take us." "Yes I think we could play on this for the whole of the winter. What do you think, Tupac?" "Sure we could wrap Auntie Claire around our paws."

The white and tan terrier and the dachshund were here for socialisation, as they were reactive to other dogs. As you can see they are having a great time, they have taken it all in their stride and are not bothered by the other dogs in the field. We are very impressed.

After a couple of training sessions and one field socialisation with two other dogs, we put this young lady into the field yesterday with a larger group. The result was amazing! I knew that eventually I would be able to get her into a pack situation but after just one other socialisation session to have her playing like this, I was just flabbergasted. How emotional was that, tears in my eyes and all? This is the icing on the cake in my job, to see a dog have the trust in me to get to this stage in such a short time is incredible.

This is an amazing achievement for them all. This is why I love my job so much. Getting these boys happy and confident around other dogs. Thanks to your mum and dad for having every faith in me.

We've had this little cheeky chap all week and he has been enjoying himself.

This perfect gentleman ( he thinks he's the king ) was having a great time earlier, chattering away and thoroughly enjoying his day out. He'll sleep tonight.
