🔹️No grooming experience is required as full training is provided. However, experience in
handling dogs is ideal.

Just a quick post regarding the warm weather🥵, as there's still the minority that still require educating 😥

● Here's a few helpful tips you can do at home ● 🌞 ☀️ 🌞

🐾 Remain on top of grooming (removing excess dead hair and knots), allowing the air to flow through the coat.

💦 Offer plenty of fresh water, make some frozen treats, or spoil them with doggy ice cream 🧊

🐾 Dog's sweat through their pads, spray them with cool water, or allow them access to a paddling pool.

🐾 Soak towels for them to lay on or purchase a cool mat.

🐾 There are various cool coats available, research the internet for suitability.

🐾 Create shaded areas where they can escape and walk them at suitable times during the day. Ideally, first thing in the morning or late at night, test the ground with the back of your hand (can you hold it down for 5secs? If not, its too hot for their pads)

⛔️NO DOG HAS DIED FROM MISSING A WALK⛔️

🚗 NEVER LEAVE THEM IN YOUR CAR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES 🚗

They not only feed on your pets but can also feed on people, too!

Speak to your Veterinarian for preventative products or look into natural holistic alternatives 🌿🍀🍃

Who couldn't resist taking a photo of this gorgeous little one 😍 Hello Beau 💗

Here at Beautiful Dogs, we no longer have a set puppy package as all puppies are different. So we tailor small, regular visits, from having a bath, gradually building up confidence to having their first full groom. Pleasant frequent grooming is strongly encouraged to prevent issues as they get older.

Booking a first full groom for your 5,6,7,8,9mth puppy is potentially going to create a scared, fearful dog who doesn't like coming to the groomers. We understand that not all dogs enjoy a groom (just like children going to school or adults going to the dentist), but the goal is that they are happy to tolerate it safely and calmly ✂️🧼🛁🐾

Crumble and Charlie were little stars today, gradually building their confidence up in the salon ready for their grown-up haircuts 🌟

It is so important to get your new addition used to all the things they will have to do in their life from an early age, and that includes their grooming regime. We break the process down into smaller stages, which allows your puppy to be gradually introduced to all things grooming ✂️🛁🧼

❗️🚗 CAR PARKING NOTICE 🚗❗️

As you may be aware, we have recently had parking cameras placed on the premises to monitor traffic. Because of this, Beautiful Dogs LTD are advising ALL clientele from the time of this message to no longer use the carpark as you have all been used to.

From this point onwards, any use of the carpark will be at YOUR OWN RISK and Beautiful Dogs LTD will NOT be responsible for any parking charges incurred whilst doing so. Any use of the car park will require you to input your details onto a system using a QR code that will be displayed on the front door to the salon and in the hallway. It will be the responsibility of the vehicle owner to input details, making sure that these are correct. Beautiful Dogs LTD will no longer be inputting details for any clients visiting the Salon.

There is an alternative pay and display car park adjacent to the salon that can be used. This carpark allows a stay of 1hr for £1 that should provide ample time for either drop off or collection of your Dogs at the Salon.

As this is not an ideal situation, Beautiful Dogs LTD are willing to pay for one ticket purchased from the pay and display on the day of your dog’s groom. For example, if you use it for both drop off and pick up, when collecting your dog, bring the drop off ticket with you for proof that this was purchased and we will deduct the £1 from your groom price (ticket will need to be provided or the deduction will not be issued) *subject to review.

These teeth were so satisfying to do today, as most of the plaque just flicked away 🙌🏻 There's still some build-up on the back molars, which will hopefully soften using Orozyme gel applied daily by the owner. Another session is required along with regular maintenance top-ups to ensure the teeth don't revert back to how they were.

It's not always possible to remove all the tar tar in the first session, especially heavy staining. But the benefits to the gums, eliminating bacteria, and preventing further buildup are all important factors to maintaining healthy oral hygiene.

We always carry out a pre-appt check to ensure Emmipet is suitable. A veterinary referral may be required first.
