Pawfect Pack Dog Training

This is Joanne, and her lovely staffy Cookie.. these guys came to me for help about 5 weeks ago, poor Cookie was so scared and reactive to absolutely anything and everything, she had got that bad that she had become aggressive to anyone within any close distance to her or Joanne.. it was heartbreaking to see how upset both dog and human were when they went out walking..
On my first visit, Cookie was pretty much ready to eat me alive, tail firmly between her legs, trembling with fear and very reluctant to walk anywhere..
I worked closely with them for the 1st few weeks and now we've started to put some distance between lessons, but today Joanne pushed herself out of her comfort zone and walked Cookie without her muzzle on.. 😀 I was so proud of both of them to see the transformation, Cookie even let me walk beside her all the way back.. and then out of the blue she looked at me and came over and took a treat from my hand 💞 believe me when I say there were tears of joy!! 💞

This job is so rewarding when you get it right.. this dog and her human can now begin to enjoy their walks together instead of fearing them. 🐾

Nice autumn photo shoot with Molly this morning, we enjoyed playing in the leaves, and watching squirrels play in the trees.. and then played a bit of 'hide & treat'

Successful lesson carried out today for a couple who won one of my vouchers at a raffle, helping to fix a beautiful sprollie with a fear of lead walking.

Unfortunately one of our girls pups is needing a new home due to change in family circumstances, the family would like him to go somewhere with someone ideally has the time and patients to do mental stimulation training as well as the physical.. he is a 13 month old border collie, with such an affectionate nature, great with other dogs and children, just needs a bit of time spent on a couple of things..
If anyone would be able to give him a home, I'm happy to put you in touch with the owners and you will have full support with any training needs from us. 🐾

We took 3 of our pack to the Cumberland Grange Care Home - Barchester Healthcare for their annual dog show today.. and had 2 winners.. 🐾 waggiest tail and best cross breed... lots of treats and prizes for all and some beautiful dogs for us to interact with..

Enrichment walking with the beautiful mylia this morning, lots of interesting sniffs to find. Still no water though 😕 so we played hide an seek, gazed at the views, searched for treats and explored the trees instead. 😀

Just had such a fantastic phonecall with a fairly new client, they have only done 2 lessons with me, both owner and dog are getting so much out of our lessons it makes me remember why I love my job, but also makes me miss doing my Agility and other training bits.. 🐾

We haven't posted in a while as things were looking rather poor on the work front, and for a while we were closing down, slowly but surly we might be picking up again, today I have been for a lovely walk with Max, we are doing some training with max and his humans too and so far they are all doing amazing.
