Nail clipping service coming soon!

As most of you know, I’m currently undertaking my Level 2 City & Guilds groom training at South Devon College. I’m planning to start offering nail clipping in the coming weeks. This will be priced at £12 and I will come to you to undertake the service, either in your home or in/outside the van depending on weather, size of dog and how tolerant your pooch is of having this treatment!

I’m equipped with traditional clippers for dogs that are more tolerant and happy to stand still, or a machine that has different settings so can be used to more slowly grind nails down to the desired length for those that aren’t as keen on having a nail trim!

Means so much to have Sally’s support, I really value the contributions she makes to the dog behaviour and training community, and the opportunities I’ve had to learn more through her offerings which are all based on fear free approaches and looking at the dog holistically. 🐾 If I ever wanted to become a certified behaviourist/trainer, I’d definitely want Sally as my mentor!

I'm going to be honest, I NEED YOUR HELP!! Over the past couple months I have sadly lost 6 dogs from my regular group lists (equating to around £660 in reduced income per month), due to client's moving out of the area and a couple, hopefully temporary, changes in circumstances... Whilst I have a number of ad hoc clients, it would be great to welcome some new regular pack members to the groups!

Please share this post and spread the word! I am offering free one hour individual assessment walks for the next month (worth £21.50) and a free walk for any regular client who successfully refers a friend (worth £16).

Just 5 group dogs today so we went for a 2 hour adventure further afield at Woodbury Common! 🪵 where did the sunshine go though 😳 ~ Nellie, Archie, Doug, Pippin & Teddy 🐾

Stunning afternoon at Mincinglake, which is usually so boggy but the ground already considerable drier 🥳 ~ Nellie, Pippin, Cooper & Piper 🐾 Also added an hour of flyering around Topsham Road once I’d finished walks 🥵 total of over 10 miles walked today 🚶‍♀️

Spring has officially arrived!! ☀️ ~ Morning group up at Ridgetop ~ Nellie, Doug, Pippin, Maize & Dottie 🐾

I don’t post my daily 1-1 walks as the majority of the time the pooches are on lead so less opportunity (and free hands) for cool photos and videos, BUT, Chico and I went on an absolute mission today! ~ He’s booked in for his nails to be trimmed at the end of his walk next week too! ~ listen to his squeaking at the beginning of the walk 😂 🐾

Quiet afternoon walk at Ludwell with just Nellie & Piper 🐾 Nellie is an ad hoc client and she is in for double walks every day this week 🐕 double walks include the morning and afternoon grip walks (2 hours of walking) with no drop home in between, so is ideal for pooches that may be left home alone for longer periods of time 🐾
