What happened to the sunshine? Hopefully it will be back soon!

Tonto definitely enjoyed having a refreshing bath in the sunshine last Friday - he is feeling extra handsome and ready for the 2nd week of the Easter Holidays.

What beautiful weather we have had for our first few mini pony days of the Easter Holidays!

The kids have enjoyed grooming and learning to look after their ponies along with riding out across the fields

He arrived this morning and settled in straight away and will be available for lessons soon 🦄

We're still feeling the absence of Steve, who, if you don't know, sadly passed away a few weeks ago and our thoughts are still very much with his family.

Having been here from the very beginning, he was such a fundamental part of the yard. From touring the world as groom to Tony's Showjumpers to more recently driving the tractor and keeping things in check at the weekends, his presence will be missed.

It's that time of year again!

Yes it's spring but it's also time for the horses annual dentist check-up

Like it's important for us, it's important for horses to get their teeth checked regularly to help them stay healthy and happy.

Thank you once again to Adam Scott Equine Dentistry for making your way through all the horses and giving them a good experience.

With that, February half terms comes to an end..

And what a fun week it has been at the stables seeing all the smiles and achievements during our mini pony days and the extra school holiday lessons being squeezed in.

Thank you to everyone who booked in and came to give the ponies extra cuddles and carrots.

Don't forget we offer lessons after school and at weekends - although spaces are limited - along with the weekdays so give us a call if you are interested.

Unfortunately due to ever rising costs we have had to review our prices, not something we like to do- these come into effect on 1st February

Key changes:

Adults prices now apply to those 13 years and over (children's prices 12 and under & uni students)

Children's 1/2 group £25
Children's 1hr group £40
Children's 1/2hr private £38

Adult's 1hr private £57
Adult's 1hr group £42
Adult's 1/2 private £40

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced weekend riding instructor to join our team at our large family run riding school

Do you enjoy teaching children and adults of all ages and abilities?

We have customers from complete beginners to the Exeter University riding teams plus riders with disabilities.

We can offer:

Merry Christmas to all our customers, friends & followers!

We hope you enjoy a relaxing couple of days

As an extra our Pony Club Group performed a Christmas musical ride on Monday and we hope to be able to share a video soon. It's tricky riding in such a big group and getting all the timings and movements right but they aced it!
