Handling critique from Brenda Randle.
Many thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge these classes. Sadly storm Darragh intervened and there were some absentees, but thank you all for combined entry of 32!
Please watch corners , this applied to some, and walking between your dog and the judge.
Breed knowledge was good and in older classes points of the dog was fair.
6-11 Years.
1st Libby Rycroft handling a dachs , good quiet handler, paid attention to where I was standing. Good breed knowledge.
2nd Anastasia Voutsis handling a cotton de tulear, another good handler, good breed knowledge also .
3rd Evie May Smart handling a sheltie , after I Iearnt is new to handling , unfortunately went between myself and her dog, but one to watch.
12 - 16 Years.
1st Thomas Taylor, handling a scottish terrier, another handler who has good knowledge.
2nd Avrora Predmeistina, handling a golden retriever, another new to handling, just needs a bit more points of dog knowledge, I'm sure will do well in the future.
17 - 39 Year
1st Chloe Clark handling a Irish setter, very good handler, moved dog at correct pace for breed, didn't over handle,points of dog knowledge very good, Best adult handler congratulations.
2nd Paige Edens handling a dalmatian, another good handler , also knew points of dog well. Splitting hairs between these two.
3rd Tieryn Clark handling an old english sheepdog , good handler again but knowledge let her down today.
40+ Years.
1st Anita Skinner handling a l/c chi, Good handler, watched for my positioning ,knowledge good also.
2nd Caroline Gammon handling a vizla, good handler, good knowledge.
3rd Tanya Keats handling a mini schnauzer , good knowledge but new to handling, with more practice should do well.
Nice touch from E.C.A , all placed had a selection box too !
