As some of you may know sadly I lost my dear boy Mario last year, it was the worst grief I felt in my life and also had a big impact on little Bellas life as she got Seperation anxiety and was also grieving.

Fast forward and by chance we were blessed with the opportunity to adopt Charlotte a sweet rescue originally from montenegro whom I occasionally walked.
I was mentally unsure if I was ready for another dog or whether Charlotte could "replace" mario and give Bella what he did
but it stopped being about that... Charlotte captured my heart and given her past I wanted to do her justice. Bella warmed to her in the home straight away and several months on with love, patience, consistency and kindness we have come on leaps and bound with this beautiful girl. I never thought anything or anyone could ease the pain but Charlotte has been the light at the end of the tunnel and has filled our days with endless love and companship... a dog really is a man's best friend.

So as the business turned 7 last month, Im here reflecting and celebraing how fortunate I am to meet all the wonderful dogs I have through my business in particular the rescues. My favourite part of this job is being part of puppies and dogs transformation and success, sometimes you can lose sight of this with the everyday tasks of the job but Charlotte is a good reminder of my motivations and passion behind starting the business and where my heart truly lies.

Thats me done for this year. Its been another great year 🥳getting to walk some of our long term dogs aswell as having the pleasure of meeting some new ones😍

What do dog walkers do when they aren't walking your dogs?

I love to go on about how I prefer dogs to people but the truth is I equally love caring and supporting people which I done before I started my business 5 years ago. This weekend I've been doing my support worker job and helping my client give her furry family members a brush and check over.

Animals are the best therapy 💜

Wherever possible as an animal loving business we love to give something back to those helping our furry friends 💜

This Christmas 🎄 i have chosen to donate £1 from every walk or visit 🐶 I do through out December to Windwhistle Warren Rabbit Rescue.
They are an amazing rescue whom work non stop to help rabbits, and they have housed over 100 at any given time.
Ive had the privilege of meeting Alice, the owner of the rescue and getting to see the hardwork that goes in to her rescue.
I'll always be in awe of her passion and dedication which is why I choose this incredible rescue.

P.s for those that don't know I'm not just dog crazy, Im a bit bunny bonkers too 🐰

Woke up to find our business had been voted as one of the 3 top dog walkers in Exeter for the third year running. 5 years of hard work and sticking to my ethos of treating clients dogs as our own does pay off!

I think I'm going to go on a dog walk to celebrate 😆

Myself and Paula attended the canine first aid training course
run by dogsafe canine southwest.

It was a really informative day, lots to take in and worth attending especially if it means being able to help your dog in an emergency.

It's run for everybody, so even as a dog owner I highly recommend this course! They've created a great learning atmosphere and cater for all sorts of people including those with learning difficulties.

Oh and by the way we passed with flying colours 😉

It was a very sad day at Wagging For Exeter (Our third loss in the last few months, it doesn't get easier) We had to say goodbye to sweet Mia. I absoutley adored this resilient girl and was a pleasure to walk.

Mia lived a good and happy 13 years thanks to her owner whom took her on at 3 weeks old despite vets advice to have her put to sleep because of her deformity.
Our thoughts are with her owner and mias little sister 💜🌈
