Lets talk winter colds! 🤧😷🤒 Did you know?

Cats and dogs can get colds in the winter, and the symptoms are similar to those in humans;
🤧 Runny nose
🤧 Coughing
🤧 Sneezing
🤧 Watery eyes
🤧 Sore throat
🤧 Body aches
🤧 Lethargy

In most cases, a pet's cold is not serious and can be treated at home. Here are some tips to help your pet recover;
🐾 Provide a warm, soft bed
🐾 Wrap your pet in a warm blanket
🐾 Allow your pet to rest
🐾 Make sure your pet has access to plenty of water

A general rule of thumb is that if it's too cold for you, it's probably too cold for your pet!

Always exercise caution with letting pets outside in the winter months, especially those that have health conditions, elderly or very small breeds.

NOTE: Pets can't catch or spread human viruses.

NOTE: if any symptoms persevere, please check with a vet to ensure there are no underlying problems

Little known fact; artificial snow is extremely toxic to pets!

Includes;
Flocked trees, snow spray, fake snow

Actions;
Eating, licking, touching or being exposed in the air

Toxicity;
Vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, collapse, weakness, can be fatal in large quantities
