VAT PRICE INCREASE - PLEASE READ ‼️

To all of our valued customers,

Firstly I would like to thank you for your continued support and loyalty that’s made my business become such a success, so much so that I have had to have conversations with my accountant about VAT registration.

As much as I would like to avoid it, I have reached a point where I must increase our prices at The Groom Pad due to hitting the vat threshold. I understand that this may be a disappointment to our loyal customers, and I want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly. I have always strived to offer the best care and grooming services for your beloved pets, as we know they are an important part of your family. However, as a small business, I have reached a point where I can no longer absorb the additional costs without making adjustments to our pricing.

I want to assure our clients that this price increase is not for my own benefit, but rather to comply with HMRC regulations. It is frustrating to see the majority of the increased revenue go to HMRC, but I must adhere to the rules and regulations set in place.

What does this mean for you?

Unfortunately, as the VAT threshold is based on turnover and NOT profit (a common misconception), I have had no choice but to add an increase onto our grooming prices. The frustrating part is that the government gain at our expense.

Thank you for your continued support and please know I am only making these adjustments to ensure The Groom Pad continues to offer the best service for your beloved pooch.

Beth has been grooming in a salon for over 4 years now and loves dogs as much as we do especially her own 2 pooches Tokyo and Rupert.

Her moto is: "I'll treat your dog as if it's my own" 😍

I'm sure you will all love her as much as we do, she'll be a great asset to our salon.

We’re all feeling the pinch especially this time of year, so I’ve been thinking of ways to help people to budget for their dogs grooms. Who would be interested in a monthly direct debit option to spread grooming costs over 12 months? So you know each month the figure you pay by direct debit on the 1st, we schedule a years worth of grooms, and then at your appointment there’s nothing to pay! All grooms would be scheduled in advance, so no panicking when you forget to book Fluffy in and the grooms are already paid for, so no panic when your bank balance isn’t looking so healthy Your years worth of grooms would also be price fixed, so that means you’d not be subject to any price increases until the end of your agreement. Did you know that we offer spa treatments for your lovely pooches? 🐶 You can add this option on when booking your dog in for their groom as an additional extra 💆🏼‍♀️🥳 The spa offer includes - Deep coat conditioning which will make your dogs coat lovely and soft - Facial to relax and unwind after those busy days of being so cute - Pawdicure to massage those toes after all the walkies! Juno enjoyed her lovely spa morning this week and would highly recommend to all her furry friends! 🐩 🐶
