Simple note re litter trays and inappropriate toileting. Yes there may be behavioural or medical issues for this. But many people forget that it may just need a new litter tray. Over time smells get ingrained into the plastic, no matter how much cleaning you do. Make sure to refresh your trays regularly too.

About us
Our motto at IFB is Feline welfare at our core!
It's not only our canine friends that can have behavioural issues, our feline friends can too.
International Feline Behaviourists (IFB) was formed in 2019 and is the feline division of ICB: International Canine Behaviourists ltd.
In 2018 it became apparent that although there were many organisations for canine behaviourists to join, there were none for feline behaviourists. International Canine Behaviorists (ICB) founder Brigitte Barton realised the need for a feline behaviourist organisation and after a meeting with feline behaviourist and feline expert Roberta Roscini, International Feline Behaviourists (IFB) was formed.
International Feline Behaviourists (IFB) will have the same rigorous application process for membership that ICB has.
International Feline Behaviourists (IFB) provides continuing education for professional feline behaviourists and supports members in their career choice, while at the same time offering advice to cat owners to help overcome unwanted behaviours. IFB prides itself on having members who have an abundance of ‘hands on’ experience, theoretical knowledge and academic qualifications, and who are committed to using force-free scientifically proven methods of behaviour modification. All our members pledge never to use any approach that may harm a cat’s physical and mental wellbeing and abide by our motto, “Feline welfare at our core”.
