WHY WE CREATED THIS PAGE
After many years of being in the reptile trade we have seen how many animals need rehoming or end up abandoned, we have always tried to help where possible this year alone we have rehomed over 20 animals many of which we get regular updates and have seen them go on to keep improving or continue to get the attention they deserve. we decided to make a page dedicated to rescuing as this is not at our heart but in recent times many other rescues have been unable to keep up with demands and changing climates however there are still many good ones available and would love to help and support/publicise any which are put forward to ourselves through fundraisers ect. WE AE NOT CHARGING FOR ANY OF THE SERVICES WE PROVIDE INCLUDING REHOMING THE ANIMALS nor are we looking to take in animals just to gain a larger collection for ourselves, we are hoping to be able to help the animals as we are lucky enough to be in a position that can make a difference. If we are given any donations we will make a public record of any money given and what it is used towards e.g. vet bills.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post we are already so grateful to all those who have helped rehome or just give their reptiles everything they need, if you have any questions/suggestions please get in touch.

HOW IT WORKS
Get in touch if you have found a loose animal we will come asap to safely collect and either find the original owner or we will rehabilitate and rehome.
IF YOU ARE IN IMEDIATE NEED OF YOUR ANIMAL TAKING IN PLEASE MAKE US AWARE AND DO NOT DUMP OR EUTHANISE WE WILL MAKE ARRANGMENTS.

* IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO REHOME YOUR ANIMAL
This is not a selling site this is for animals you are looking to find a new suitable home for.
please provide the following information or as much as possible
ABOUT THE ANIMAL- pictures of the animal, what it is, age, size, any known health issues/previous vet treatment, temperament, known genetics, any breeding, current diet, preferred foods, bathing/ other schedules, any other info
EXTRA INFO- does the animal come with enclosure if so pictures if possible and details of what is in the enclosure (if there is UV how long has it been used for ect), length of ownership, is it kept with others or near other animals, if vet treatment is required before rehoming or shortly after would you be willing to arrange or is the reason for rehoming due to needing unaffordable vet treatment, are you rehoming due to the animals unsuitability if so are you looking for another please give details and we may be able to match you with something more suitable, would you like to be updated with the animals progress usually this will be with the new owners however some animals may stay with us for educational purposes or breeding programmes.

*IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO TAKE ON A REHOME ANIMAL
what type of animal are you looking for (if not sure-what budget do you have for initial set up and ongoing costs food ect, time, experience, space, are you looking for something to handle), do you have the correct set up for species if so pictures and details if not some may come with 2nd hand set ups or we can provide new (we have our own guidelines for setups if we feel it is incorrect we can advise), experience with species or similar, if vet treatment is needed are you happy to provide this also these animals may need extra attention.

*WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
when we have taken your details we will keep them and some animals may be posted online to help the rehome process, we will check these animals over ourselves however vet checks are recommended then they will go to the new owners. People looking to rehome will also be be kept on file unless they want to be taken off, after finding a suitable species then contacted if a matching animal comes up and the process will start.

PLEASE NOTE: These animals will not all be able to view at all times in store due to quarantine/welfare reasons due to this we are also limited to how many animals we can take in and not just be on our rehoming site.

we also have a help group named IS MY REPTILE OK? (it has our logo on) for any questions about your animal, this is not only run by ourselves there are also many experienced others on hand as we are all still learning and improving if you would like to contribute you knowledge to the group let us know or check it out for more info.
