Today we were thrilled to welcome who will be sitting off from La Gomera to row across the Atlantic in December!! Such an amazing test of strength and character for this team of 5. They were here today to raise awareness and give our visitors the chance to speak to the crew and look around the boat that will be their home for around 34 days. We wish them every success and look forward to tracking their journey.

We were delighted to be asked by the Exmouth Rotary to help support and sponsor the Classic Bike and Car Show held on the Imperial Recreation Ground. It was a great event with loads of interesting vehicles on display, and lots of visitors. This was all in aid of The Exmouth/Exeter Hospicecare; a charity that we are always very keen to support. Well done to the Rotary Club for organising such a great event.

A just reward at the end of another hot day…… Jan and Minty always pop by the Deer Train Station for a tasty carrot at the end of the day on their way back to their paddock. Gotta love them ❤️

Do you remember when these three Calves first joined us at the park ? You may have even helped with Bottle Feeding. They are growing up fast. You can visit them out in the Animal Paddocks now. They love running through the grass together.

You may have spotted something new around the park. This is our new Appy Angus art rubbing trail. There’s six brass rubbing plaques around the park. Locations are listed on the activity sheet and there are crayons available at each location. We have activity sheets available to collect from Reception.

Jack is one of our most loved resident donkeys. Due to his age and health complications he spends most of his time at The Old Time Farmyard. Because of eyesight issues he can’t stay out in the fields. But on a sunny day the Animal Team will take him out to enjoy some time eating some grass and soaking in the sunshine.

We had a fantastic day with Devon's Top Attractions yesterday at the Devon County Show. There’s still two days left to visit. You will find the stand on Avenue A. Games to play, prizes to be won. Also leaflets of all your next days out available.

Well, what an eventful day, with the most horrendous rain causing all sorts of issues, our friends from the Exeter & East Devon RS Owners Club have put together an amazing Vintage and Classic Car Show here at World of Country Life. With over 100 owners with their cars braving the weather, there is a wonderful selection to look at. There is a great spirit on site with everyone making the most of the break in the weather to admire these beautiful vehicles. Thanks to everyone that made it today.
