🥳 Celebrating A Decade Of Sandy Paws 🥳

Woosha, today marks a decade in business! We’ve had the absolute pleasure of looking after thousands of dogs, some cats, and small furries too. 💕

Ten years ago, when we started Sandy Paws, the kids were just wee. First days at school, birthday parties, days away—a decade of special moments shared with the dogs we look after.

Millions of miles walked and an abundance of memories to last a lifetime. A home bought to build our business, new vans, kennels, daycare, awards won, us getting married, the kids raised in an amazing home. It’s been a busy 10 years!!

What keeps us going tho is you—our incredible customers who support us in doing what we love every day. Forever thankful. Feeling emotional this morning as we look back at old photos of so many of the well-loved dogs no longer with us. We truly love them like our own.

Absolutely blown away with all the messages we’ve had enquiring about Callie’s crew 🏡 They all have the best forever homes now and we are absolutely delighted 💕 there will be many tears when they go, literally can’t imagine life without them 🥲but we are so excited for their future families 😍 Callie has done us beyond proud, she’s been theee best mama and has made this super easy for us. Best experience ever hands down 💕🐾

⚠️ At Berwick we have had our first suspected Adder Bite case of the year⚠️

We would strongly advise clients with dogs to exercise caution when out walking in known hotspots for Adders in your area.

Adders will only usually bite when they are disturbed.

If you suspect your pet has been bitten -
⚠️Do not put pressure or a bandage on the puncture site.
⚠️Keep the dog as still as possible - carry if possible or wait for someone to bring a vehicle.
⚠️Call your Vet ASAP - adder bites require prompt emergency treatment for the best outcome.

Good Afternoon 🥰

We have had the absolute best 2 weeks relaxing in the sun & will be back tomorrow - raring to reopen on Thursday. We can’t wait to see all the gang we’ve missed them all loads 🐶🥰

We are open for boarding over Xmas and New Year - with limited availability so if you have any requirements just give us a message 🎄🎅🏻🤶🏻

Daycare will be closed in between Christmas and New Year so last Daycare day will be 22nd Dec & we will reopen 3rd Jan 🎉

Today we celebrate 9 Whole Years Of Sandy Paws 🥳🎉🎂. Sandy Paws was born because of our joint love of animals 🐾 Looking back at where we began, dog walking from the back of our old estate car to where we are today is unbelievable. We have had the most supportive customers both old & new so a massive thanks to you all for making it all possible 🥰

We are now in our busiest time of the year for boarding at Sandy Paws and only have very limited availability between now and the middle of August.

The end of the year is also beginning to fill up so to avoid disappointment please give us a message with any dates you require.

If you haven’t used our services before and wish to do so please contact us to arrange a free consultation and trial.

Also a gentle reminder our drop off and pick times that are 8-10am and 4-6pm daily.
All boarding payments must be received prior to collecting your dog from boarding.

If anyone was interested there are a couple of daycare slots available for a Monday & Tuesday

All services we be closed for 2 weeks from the 22nd November

We are planning to stay open over Christmas 🎅🏻 & New Year this year for any boarding requirements
