GENRAL NOTES :
Cage is a very sweet 7 year old ex-flat horse who was just too slow for racing. He last ran in March 2020 and since then he has just been out in the field minding the youngsters.
Cage is a straight forward, active horse who is not spooky or nasty in any way. We brought him in this week and popped the saddle on him and rode away. We gave him a little pop and he was very sweet.
He is good to tack, travel, shoe, clip and handle. No vices or bad habit except he eats leadropes and headcollars if he can reach them. He hasnt done much reschooling so is a blank canvas. He rides well on the flat and will pop away over small fences without any fuss. He loves attention and will stand to be petted or groomed all day.
No sarcoids and no health issues that we know of. He was always very straight forward to train but just not fast/interested enough in racing for us to keep in training.
Medically he has a small crack in each front foot but they aren't deep. We can get the farrier to pop a pair of fronts on him if needed before he goes to his new home.
Cage is a real dude and we think a teenager or light adult would have soo much fun with him.

What can we say about this special horse! Honestly the nicest person I have ever met, he is just so easy to do every way and the most chilled out horse we have ever had.
There is just something about this horse that you can’t stop loving.
He is currently being reschooled and will need a lot of time to be taught correctly in the arena but nothing phases him and he is always eager to learn and please.

She would make an ideal horse for a home looking for a horse that is clean and sound with a blank canvas and a great temperament.
